dbx DJDI Quick start guide

1. Lower the fader, gain/trim control, and enable the mute on the
mixer channel(s) you will be connecting the DJDI to.
2. Turn the DJDI’s ATTENUATION control fully clockwise and
connect the DJDI between the instrument and mixer as shown
in the diagram to the right.
3. Unmute the mixer channel(s), set the fader(s) to unity gain (0),
then raise the gain/trim control(s) until the desired level is
achieved without distortion.
NOTE: If distortion occurs, even when the mixer’s gain/trim
controls are fully lowered, lower the DJDI’s ATTENUATION
control until the signal is distortion free.
4. If a ground hum occurs, try engaging the DJDI’s GROUND
switch.
