SDL2115: System Slowdown Due to Lockup of Call Reg on 25.40/25.40B s/w
A problem was introduced on 25.40 s/w that causes continuous SDL2115 messages.
If the issue occurs on a site, the TTY will be flooded with SDL2115 messages and all
the idle call registers on the system will quickly be used up.
This can result in System Freeze, INI, or other strange problems due to no call
registers being available.
The problem will only happen on sites that have M3900 series sets, as it is related to
the flash download function to these sets types.
Patch MPLR17043 is available to prevent this problem occurring.
The problem can happen with:
Meridian 1 25.40 s/w
Meridian 1 25.40B s/w
CSE1K 02.02 s/w
The chances of the problem occurring on a site are quite low. However the problem
is serious so the pep MPLR17043 will be included on the Dep Lists in the near future.
