Camber Bushings
Unlike the standard McPherson struts, the Öhlins struts
features camber bushings that enable you to alter the
wheel camber. Three sets of bushings are included in
each set of shocks/struts.
The different bushings are marked with grooves, see
table. The set of camber bushing mounted standard has
no eccentricity, what regards the other two supplied kits,
see the table.
NOTE!
The camber angles are approximate and may vary from car
to car depending on the manufacturing tolerances of the sus-
pension parts and the pick-up points. Therefore please check
camber angle on each wheel carefully and adjust if neces-
sary.
Standard Camber bushings
(supplied together with the struts):
No. of mark- Eccentricity Camber Part no.
ing grooves in mm angle dif.
000°05194-00
211°05194-10
422°05194-20
Optional Camber bushings
(to be ordered separately):
No. of mark- Eccentricity Camber Part no.
ing grooves in mm angle dif.
1 0.5 0.5° 05194-05
3 1.5 1.5° 05194-15
5 2.5 2.5° 05194-25
0 No hole, the customer can drill the 05194-80
hole to tailor camber exactly
Note that the camber bushing can be turned towards the wheel
and away from the wheel to get maximum camber angle
adjustability.

WARNING!
Certain modifications may be necessary
when installing the Öhlins suspension. It
is essential that the mounting instruc-
tions are carefully followed.
9
Choose a place for the reservoir mount-
ing bracket on the wheel housing, see
fig. Use supplied screws to fit the bracket
and place the reservoir in the bracket.
To secure the reservoir use supplied
hose clamp or tie-rap.
10
Clamp the reservoir hose to the wheel
housing and make sure that you have
clearance between the wheel and the
hose in any steering angle.
11
Measure on the front lower mudguard
were to make a cut in the mudguard for
clearance to the hose and the reservoir
itself. The adjustment wheel should be
possible to reach from the inside of the
wheel housing with the mudguard as-
sembled to the car. Fit the mudguard.
12
Before fitting the wheel make sure that
you have secured both the reservoir
hose and the brake line properly, so there
are clearances to wheels, brakes etc.

Mounting instructions
1
Lift the car so the wheels are free from
the ground and put it on stands. Make
sure it is steadily positioned and will not
fall down.
2
Remove the standard strut according to
your car’s workshop manual. Remove
the front lower part of the plastic guard,
inside the wheel arch.
3
Check the marking on the Öhlins front
strut to locate left or right front.
4
Fit the original upper mounting/bearing
to the Öhlin strut. See fig. for how to
place the spacers, tightening torque 45
Nm.
6
Before fitting the Öhlin strut to the up-
right place the supplied spacer 00123-
14 (12/16/25mm) into the upper hole of
the upright.
7
Fit the strut to the upright using the origi-
nal screw in the lower mounting hole
(tightening torque, see the car’s owners
manual) and the supplied screw in the
upper mounting hole. Tightening torque
50 Nm.
8
The chamber bushing that is fitted in the
strut gives approximately -0.5° (camber
angle). This angle may vary from car to
car, please measure the camber angle
on your car and change it if required us-
ing supplied camber bushings. See
table below, also see our recommended
set-up.
4
5
Fit the upper mounting and strut to the
car. Check that the swivel banjo is fac-
