BLOTZ B00-RT-217 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Counter B00-RT-217. This document provides step-by-step details on how to assemble the counter, focusing on proper gluing techniques of different parts, using PVA glue and a modeling knife. It also mentions using pegs or elastic bands to fix parts while drying. I'm ready to answer your questions about the assembly process or the counter's components.
  • What type of glue is recommended for assembly?
What tool is required to remove sections from the sprue?
What should I use to hold pieces in place while the glue dries?
Generic Counter (00-99)
B00-RT-217
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Carefully remove the two axles from the centre of the
dials. DO NOT throw these away.
Glue the two axles to the back plate, positioning
them inside the two circles etched into it.
Glue the central section into place. Allow this whole
assembly to fully dry before proceeding.
Place the dials over their axles as shown.
Finally glue the top plate into position, ensuring that
no glue gets onto the dials.
This example had its dials sprayed white before
assembly, allowing the numbers to be seen more
clearly.
