REPLACING THE FILTER

1. Close inlet isolation valve and open cold water faucet to relieve

pressure. Once pressure is relieved close cold water faucet.

2. Close outlet isolation valve.

3. Remove inlet and outlet connections on Triple Clear Force

Field Filter by pushing in collet and pulling tubing straight out of

connections.

4. Remove Triple Clear Force Field Filter from mounting bracket and

discard appropriately.

5. Install new Triple Clear Force Field Filter into mounting bracket.

6. Insert inlet and outlet tubing in the appropriate filter connections.

Tubing should insert 3/4 to 7/8” into connections.

7. Open inlet isolation valve slowly, inspecting tubing and

connections for any leaks.

8. Open outlet isolation valve slowly, inspecting tubing and

connections for any leaks.

NOTE: IN THE EVENT OF LEAKAGE, TURN OFF WATER SUPPLY

AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO RECTIFY.

9. Open faucet to purge any trapped air from the system, confirm

proper operation, and allow filter to flush prior to use. A minimum of

XXX gallons is recommended to flush the filter.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Read all safety information and instructions

prior to installation of the Triple Clear Force Field Filter.

• The Triple Clear Force Field Filter is intended for use in filtering potable water in

homes. The system is typically installed at the point of use, and must be installed

according to these instructions.

• This filter is intended to be used in a vertical arrangement and should be in a

location that will prevent it from being struck by other items.

• When choosing a position to mount the filter bracket, do not install near electric

wiring, piping and/or existing water lines which may be in the path of a drilling tool

• Install in accordance with existing state or local plumbing codes. Ensure all tubing

and fittings are secure and free of leaks.

• Do not use with water that is not potable.

• Install on cold water lines only.

• Do not install in direct sunlight.

• The filter must be protected from freezing. Structural integrity may be compromised

should filter be allowed to freeze.

• The Triple Clear Force Field Filter is designed to be used at a maximum pressure of

80 psi. If water pressure exceeds 80 psi a pressure limiting device must be installed.

• Do not install where water hammer conditions are present. If water hammer

conditions do exist, a water hammer arrester must be installed.

• Do not install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating water temperature

of this filter system is 80°F.

• The Triple Clear Force Field Filter is designed to be replaced every XXX months.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

• Remove items from the immediate area of the installation.

• Please note water spillage may occur during installation and appropriate measures

should be taken

• For optimum performance the filter must be installed with the inlet and outlet ports

as labeled. Make sure not to reverse connections.

• The Triple Clear Force Field Filter has been designed for a maximum flow rate of

XXX gpm.

• Failure to follow instructions may void any expressed or implied warranties.

7. Turn on the cold

water supply slowly,

inspecting tubing and

connections for any

leaks.

8. Open inlet isolation

valve slowly,

inspecting tubing and

connections for any

leaks.

9. Open outlet

isolation valve slowly,

inspecting tubing and

connections for any

leaks.

NOTE: IN THE

EVENT OF LEAKAGE,

TURN OFF WATER

SUPPLY AND TAKE

APPROPRIATE ACTION

TO RECTIFY.

10. Open faucet to

purge any trapped

air from the system,

confirm proper

operation, and allow

filter to flush prior

to use. A minimum

of XXX gallons is

recommended to flush

the filter.

5. Insert appropriate opaque

tubing into the inlet side of the

Triple Clear Force Field Filter.

Tubing should insert 3/4 to 7/8”

into the inlet side.

6. Insert other opaque

tubing into the outlet

side of the Triple Clear

Force Field Filter. Tubing

should insert 3/4 to 7/8”

into the outlet side.

3. Fasten the bracket to the wall using the four mounting screws

included and the anchors as necessary.

4. Verify the mounting bracket is secure.

INSTALLING THE MOUNTING BRACKET:

1. Select a location for the mounting bracket. For ease of filter

replacement select a location that offers easy access.

2. Using the level place the mounting bracket level against the

wall and mark the four screw holes.

INSTALLING THE FILTER:

1. (a)Turn off

the cold water

supply, (b)open

cold water

faucet and

(c)cut into

existing 3/8”

supply lines.

Once supply line

has been cut,

(d)close cold

water faucet.

2. Install

isolation valve

on each side of

the cut supply

line by fully

inserting supply

line tubing into

socket of the

isolation valve.

Tubing should

insert 3/4 to 7/8”

into isolation

valve socket.

NOTE: VALVES SHOULD BE IN THE CLOSED

POSITION DURING INSTALLATION

3. Insert

one piece of

the opaque

supply tubing

into the other

side of each

isolation

valve. Tubing

should insert

3/4 to 7/8”

into isolation

valve socket.

4. Install the Triple Clear Force

Field Filter into the mounting

bracket, ensuring inlet and outlet

are appropriately located.
