Remove any dirt or dust from the mains plug’s pins before connecting to the power supply.
• Dust build-up on the mains plug can cause insulation failure, especially in humid conditions. This can cause short
circuit, re or electric shock. Unplug the mains lead and wipe it with a dry cloth. Never use a wet or damp cloth.
Plug your appliance into the socket, making sure the connection is secure.
• A loosely connected mains plug can cause re or electric shock.
Install the refrigerator in a well-ventilated area.
• The more refrigerant there is in an appliance, the larger the room it should be installed in. If there’s a refrigerant uid
leak, and the appliance is in a small room, the build up of combustible gases is more likely. This can cause re or
explosion. As a guide, for every 8
g of coolant, you’ll need at least 1 cubic metre of space in the room. The data plate
inside the appliance tells you how much refrigerant your refrigerator contains.
The refrigerant (R600a) used in the refrigerator and the gases in the insulation material (cyclopentane) are both
fl ammable. They also require special disposal procedures.
• Before you dispose of the appliance, make sure none of the pipes on the back are damaged. Refrigerant or gas leaks
can cause re or explosion.
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning and servicing.

consult authorized service centre.

This section explains how to install your appliance for the most energy-ef cient, safe and quiet operation.

Unpacking your appliance
Remove all packaging and tape.
Choosing the right location
Ventilation
As the appliance gives off heat during operation, it should be installed
in a well-ventilated, dry room with plenty of space above and behind it,
as shown in Figure 1.
If you can hear it vibrating, it needs more space.
(However, if there is a wall on the side of the refrigerator, a space of
32.5 mm or more is required on the hinge side for the doors to open
90° or more.)
Temperature
The room temperature affects the refrigerator’s energy-ef ciency, i.e.
how much electricity it uses to chill and freeze foods.
For the best results, install your refrigerator:
● away from direct sunlight
● away from radiators, cookers or other heat sources
● where the room temperature corresponds to the climate
classi cation for which the appliance is designed. Refer to the
Speci cations Section for your appliance’s climate classi cation.
● Extreme temperatures or environmental conditions may have
negative impact on its performance.
Stored food may spoil.
Level
After carefully positioning the appliance so as not to damage oor
surfaces, install on a level oor that’s strong enough to support a fully
loaded refrigerator.
You can adjust the level of the refrigerator by screwing or unscrewing
the two adjustable legs as shown in Figure 2.
This prevents vibration and noise.
If the appliance is to stand on a carpeted or vinyl oor, put a solid board
underneath it rst. This will protect your oor against possible colour
change due to heat given off by the appliance.
Refrigerator door
The refrigerator’s door hinges can be swapped over, from the right side
to the left, so that the doors open in the opposite direction. If this is
more convenient in your home, please contact our service centre listed
on the attached sheet or access to our Web site
(http://www.panasonic.com).
We could not be held responsible if you replace the hinges by yourself.

Installing the distance guides
The appliance is supplied with two distance guides which should be
installed on the lower part of the housing to prevent from pushing the
appliance too close to the wall. Appliance may also be installed without
the spacers; however, this may increase power consumption.
Insert the distance guides into the holes circled in the gure. (The
distance guides are included in the bag that contains the manual and
other items.)
Cleaning
After installation, wipe the appliance clean with warm water.
Connecting the mains plug to the household mains socket
After the appliance is plugged, all symbols will appear for a moment, and then the startup values will appear as -18 °C on
freezer setting indicator and 5 °C on fridge setting indicator.
All buttons on the control panel are touch-operated. (Only press to activate the button you want to operate.)
Notes:
• Cooling may take longer in the summer months or at other times when the room temperature is higher.
• If you need to unplug the refrigerator, wait at least 10 minutes before you plug it back in again. If not, you might damage
the compressor.
• If you’re not going to use the refrigerator for a long time, unplug it from the mains.
Ambient room temperature
You’ll nd your refrigerator’s climate classication on the rating plate in the left side of the fridge compartment. It shows

• Attach the drawers and shelves in the refrigerator to the positions illustrated on the section of “Parts” (P.8).
3. Do not over ll the refrigerator to allow the air to circulate.
4. Open the doors only when necessary and as briey as possible.
5. Occasionally clean the ventilation openings at the bottom of the refrigerator with a vacuum cleaner, etc.
6. When setting to Super Freeze Mode, Flash Freeze Mode or Super Cool Mode, power consumption will be increased.

Način rada alarma
Alarm za visoku temperaturu:

• Kad primijetite zvučni alarm, isključite ga pritiskom tipke ❷.
• Zvučni alarm uključit će se svaka 24 sata ako temperatura u uređaju nije dovoljno niska i ako
postoji opasnosti od kvarenja hrane.
Alarm će se automatski isključiti čim temperatura u zamrzivaču padne na razinu na kojoj ne
predstavlja opasnost od kvarenja.
• Kad se uređaj uključi prvi put, postoji odgoda od 24 sata u radu alarma za temperaturu
budući da uređaj još neće doseći potrebnu temperaturu. Stoga se sprječava nepotrebno
uključivanje alarma.
Alarm za otvorena vrata hladnjaka:
• Ako su vrata hladnjaka ili zamrzivača otvorena duže od dvije minute, uključit će se zvučni
alarm i treperit će tipka ❷.
Kad se vrata zatvore, alarm će se isključiti. Može se isključiti i pritiskom tipke ❷.

“Multibox” storage box can make ice cubes and store them.
To make ice cubes, ll the lid of the “Multibox” storage box
with water and place it in the freeze drawer of the freezer.
When ice cubes are ready, take out the box from the
freezer drawer. Remove the lid from the box, and push
each cavity of the lid from the back side. The ice cubes will
pop out from the lid. Then, put the box back into its place.

Spremnik “Višestruka pohrana” (svi modeli) Posudica za led
Spremnik "Višestruka pohrana" može izrađivati i pohraniti
kockice leda. Za izradu kockica leda napunite poklopac
spremnika "Višestruka pohrana" vodom i stavite ga u ladicu
zamrzivača. Kad su kockice leda gotove, izvadite spremnik iz
ladice zamrzivača. Uklonite poklopac sa spremnika i gurnite
svaku duplju poklopca s donje strane. Kockice leda iskočit će
iz poklopca. Zatim vratite spremnik na njegovo mjesto.
Otvorite zamrzivač, izvucite ladicu zamrzivača i izvadite
posudicu za led. Posudicu za led napunite vodom do
oznake za razinu vode i zatim je vratite na njezino mjesto.
Kada su kockice leda gotove, izvucite ladicu zamrzivača
i izvadite posudicu za led. Lagano savijte posudicu za
led držeći je za obje strane i kockice leda ispast će iz

Čišćenje kasete sa zaštitom za održavanje svježine
Kaseta sa zaštitom za održavanje svježine učvršćena je zupcima. Uklonite kasetu i operite je vodom. Nakon što operete
kasetu vodom, iscijedite je i obrišite preostale kapljice vode prije pričvršćivanja. Ako je mrlje teško ukloniti, oprezno operite
kasetu blagim kuhinjskim deterdžentom (neutralnim) i mekanom krpom te isperite deterdžent vodom.

Čišćenje vanjskog dijela hladnjaka
Za čišćenje vanjskog dijela hladnjaka koristite se toplom, vlažnom, mekanom krpom. Za tvrdokorniju prljavštinu koristite se blagim
kuhinjskim deterdžentom i nakon toga prebrišite mekom suhom krpom. Ako ostane još vode na površini, obrišite je suhom krpom.

Prije pomicanja ili prijevoza hladnjaka

Pomicanje i prijevoz hladnjaka
Potrebno je najmanje dvoje ljudi da bi se hladnjak sigurno premjestio.
Učvrstite podesive nožice.
Držite podesive nožice na jednoj strani, a kutove na drugoj,
kako je prikazano na slici.
Napomena:
• Hladnjak nemojte nositi tako da ga držite za vrata.
Uvijek ga prenosite u normalnom uspravnom položaju.
Provjera održavanja
● Je li kabel za napajanje oštećen?
● Zagrijava li se utikač?
● Je li utikač čvrsto utaknut u strujnu utičnicu?
Ako je kabel za napajanje oštećen, posavjetujte se s ovlaštenim servisnim centrom. NEMOJTE pokušavati sami
zamijeniti ove dijelove.
Dugotrajno nekorištenje
Ako hladnjak ne namjeravate upotrebljavati duže vrijeme, odspojite kabel za napajanje te očistite utikač kako je
prethodno opisano. Zatim vrata ostavite otvorena 2 - 3 dana. Tako će se unutrašnjost hladnjaka potpuno osušiti i
spriječit će se stvaranje neugodnih mirisa i plijesni.
Hladnjak nemojte često uključivati i isključivati. Duže će raditi ako ga ostavite uključenog za vrijeme normalnog rada.

• Uobičajeno je da hladnjak proizvodi zvukove kad započne ili završi s radom.
Čuje se zvuk kada se kompresor
isključi.
• To je uobičajeno i uzrok je često utjecanje rashladnog sredstva natrag u
kompresor.
Čuje se zvuk nakon što otvorite ili

uobičajena je. Obrišite suhom krpom.
Vanjski dio hladnjaka vruć je na
dodir.
• Nakon što uključite hladnjak, on se može zagrijati dok se unutrašnjost ne
ohladi dovoljno. Hladnjak se može zagrijati čak i nakon što je unutrašnjost
rashlađena. Uzrok tome je rad cijevi za ispuštanje topline koja služi za
sprečavanje kondenzacije i to nije kvar.

kondenzacije.
• Kondenzacija se javlja kada često otvarate i zatvarate vrata ili kada ona
nisu dobro zatvorena te kada je vlažnost zraka u prostoriji visoka. Obrišite
kondenzaciju suhom krpom.
Vrata zamrzivača teško se
otvaraju.
• Ponekad je teško otvoriti vrata ako su upravo bila zatvorena.
• Zbog razlike u tlaku zraka u unutrašnjosti hladnjaka i izvan njega vrata
zamrzivača mogu se teže otvarati. Pričekajte nekoliko trenutaka i zatim
ponovno pokušajte otvoriti vrata.
Iz unutrašnjosti hladnjaka šire se
neugodni mirisi.
• Jeste li hranu s jakim mirisom stavili u posude koje se mogu hermetički
zatvoriti prije stavljanja u hladnjak?
Hranu stavite u posudu koja se može hermetički zatvoriti i pohranite je.
