totheSQLServerdatabaseorOracleschema.

19 ClicktheTestbuttontotesttheconnectiontothedatabase.Ifthetestfails,check

yourentries,makeany

neededcorrections,andtryagain.

Before the Installation

IfapreviousversionofvCenterOperationsManagerEnterpriseisalreadyinstalledontheLinuxhost,you

muststopitsprocessesbeforeyouinstallvCenterOperationsManagerEnterprise.Youcandothisusingthe

vcenter-ops

/vcops.sh.Runthescriptwiththestopparameter:

vcops.sh stop

Tomakesuretheserviceshaveallstopped,usethestatusparameter:

vcops.sh status
