1.2. THE RECEIVER REAR PANEL
The rear panel gives you various connections to connect the audio and video equipment as
well as a terrestrial and dish antennas. Depending on the installation setup, you may not use
all connectors, but they are provided for any desired setup in future.
The available connectors on the rear panel are:
â– The LNB IN connector (F-type),
for the connection of a dish to the
receiver, to receive the digital
broadcasts;
â– The VCR connector (SCART), for the
connectionofaVCRwiththeuseofa
fully-featured SCART-cable;
â– The IF OUT DIGITAL connector (F-
type), for the connection of a loop
through cable;
â– The DECODER connector (SCART),
for the connection of a decoder with the
use of a fully-featured SCART-cable;
â– The LNB IN ANALOG connector (F-
type), for the connection of a dish to the
receiver, to receive the analog
broadcasts;
â– The TV connector (SCART),
for the connection of a TV with the use of
a fully-featured SCART-cable;
â– The S/PDIF connector (RCA),
for the connection of Dolby Digital (AC-3)
compatible audio equipment;
â– The 0/12V connector (RCA),
for the connection of a remote switch;
â– The VIDEO connector (RCA),
for the connection to the composite
video input of the TV (monitor);
â– The FERRITE + connector (spring-clip),
for the connection to the + terminal of a
magnetic polarotor (Ferrite);
â– The AUDIO L connector (RCA),
for the connection of the left audio input
channel of a stereo set;
â– The FERRITE - connector (spring-clip),
for the connection to the - terminal of a
magnetic polarotor (Ferrite);
â– The AUDIO R connector (RCA),
for the connection of the right audio input
channel of a stereo set;
â– The M1 connector (spring-clip),
for the line 1 connection of a motor or
actuator (for motorized/actuated dishes);
â– The ANT IN connector (IEC),
for the connection of an terrestrial TV
antenna;
â– The M2 connector (spring-clip),
for the line 2 connection of a motor or
actuator (for motorized/actuated dishes);
â– The TV OUT connector (IEC),
for the connection to the antenna
connector of a TV or a VCR;
â– The M.PULSE connector (spring-clip),
for the connection of the feedback
sensor (for motorized/actuated dishes);
â– The SERIAL PORT connector (sub-D),
for the connection to the serial
communication port of a PC;
â– The +5V connector (spring-clip),
for the connection of the power terminal
of a polarotor;
â– The USB connector (slave USB),
for the connection to an operational USB
port of a PC;
â– The GND connector (spring-clip),
for the connection of the ground terminal
of the feedback sensor and the
polarotor;
â– The SKEW connector (spring-clip),
for the connection of the skew terminal
of a polarotor;
