Usage Instructions
Typical Applications:
• For use on Class 1 Flex Duct for connecting, joining, sealing and patching
flexible air ductwork.
• Can be used in temperatures ranging from -10 F to 210 F.
Proper Installation:
The proper installation of DC 181 HVAC Flex Duct Tape ensures the tape will perform
as designed:
• The surface the tape is adhered to should be clean and dry.
• The tape should be unwound and placed in position on the ductwork.
• Once the tape is in place, proper pressure must be applied for the adhesive to
achieve a permanent bond. A squeegee should be used to ensure the pressure
is applied across the entire width of the tape.
• Once this has been completed, the tape is considered installed properly.
