Step Instruction

Always depressurize the system prior to

any maintenance.

Remove the metal guard assembly by

firmly grasping the guard while pressing

on the black locking tab. Push the guard

upwards and rotate the guard 1/8

th

of a

turn counter-clockwise.

Turn the guard so the two marks on the

guard are aligned with the two locking

marks, then slowly pull the guard

downward to remove.

Remove the polycarbonate bowl by firmly

grasping the bowl and slowly pulling

downward. It may be necessary to move

the bowl back and forth slightly to ease it

out of the socket.

Remove the baffle located at the bottom

of the filter element by removing the

screw.

6 Install a new filter element.

7 Reassemble in reverse order.

Before returning the filter back to service,

ensure all seals have been installed or

replaced and the guard assembly is in the

locked position.
