Your
Viper PowerSports VPS450 GPS
system
secures your vehicle
with built-in starter disable feature and GPS location.
It
prevents
the vehicle from being started, or sends you alerts if your vehicle
is
stolen
or
moved without permission.
In
order to optimize the battery life
of
your powersports vehicle,
the VPS450
is
kept in sleep mode
at
all times unless woken up
by
specific activity:

Important:
The
VPS450 can take
45-60
seconds
to
connect to
the
cellular network after it wakes up and will not respond to
commands until connected.
To
ensure
that you can start your vehicle quickly and easily
in
remote areas where cellular coverage may be poor,
we
rec-
ommend that your authorized Viper Powersports dealer always
installs
the
local override switch.
This
allows you to securely start
the
vehicle even if the device
is
out
of
contact with
the
network.
