Before Plugging In:
If the refrigerator has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for any
period, wait 24 hours before plugging the unit in.
Unit must be plugged into a 3-prong grounded outlet. It is recommended
that a separate circuit serving only the product be used.
Do not use with extension cords.
• Remove all packaging material including tape and foam.
• Place on a flat, hard floor surface.
Keep away from extreme heat and cold settings, including heavy moisture
environments.
Provide a minimum clearance behind the refrigerator of 2” for proper air
circulation.
Make sure door is properly aligned and gasket seal around door is
securely sealed when in closed position.
When Starting Refrigerator / After Plugging In:
Turn the thermostat dial to an initial setting of “7” (Highest setting) for
15-20 minutes.
The setting of “4” should be appropriate for normal operation in home or
office use.
Troubleshooting/FAQs
Unit is not working properly:
Turning the temperature to “0” position will shut off the cooling cycle but
does not turn off the electrical power to the unit.
Wait 3-5 minutes before restarting if you unplug the refrigerator. The unit
may fail to operate properly if restarted too quickly.
Overloading the refrigerator forces the compressor to run longer and thus
increases energy consumption.
Refrigerator is not cold enough:
If the ambient temperature is too high, the refrigerator may not reach the
desired target temperature.
Large amounts of food will lower the cooling efficiency of the appliance.
Do not place the foods on the air outlet; leave spaces for airflow.
If you choose to change the thermostat setting, adjust thermostat control
one increment at a time. Allow several hours for temperature to stabilize
between adjustments.
Door may not be securely closed. Make sure gasket seal is secure for
proper sealed closure.
