ALWAYS SWITCH OFF this
device prior to connecting to mains
power and when not in use.

Quick Set Up Guide
STEP 1
Position the camera in a suitable
location and fix using supplied
wall plugs and screws.
STEP 2
Connect the camera trailing lead
to the supplied extension cable.
STEP 3
Connect the extension cable and
PSU lead to the rear of the
monitor as shown above.
STEP 4
Plug the PSU into an available
mains socket and switch on.
ALWAYS ALIGN THE ARROWS WHEN
CONNECTING THE CABLE TO THE
MONITOR.
DO NOT TWIST.
STEP 5
Switch the monitor ON ensuring
that the green power indicator
lights up.
STEP 6
Select channel C1 (Switch
pressed in) and set the mode to
MANUAL (Switch out)
STEP 7
To hold a two-way conversation
with somebody, hold the TALK
button down to speak. Then,
release the button to listen.
WARNING
The supplied power supplies may get hot during extended periods of use. This is normal
and is NOT a hazard.
DO NOT COVER the power supply units
DO NOT COVER the ventilation on the top of the monitor.
CONNECTION
TO A VCR
In most cases it is possible to connect
your CTVM300AWK Monitor to a
domestic VCR to record your CCTV
footage.
NOTE: This requires the use of a
Phono to SCART lead - not supplied.

SYMPTOM SOLUTION
Rolling/Unsteady Picture Adjust the V-HOLD control on the rear of the monitor
Too Bright/Dark Adjust the BRIGHTNESS control on the rear of the monitor
Unclear/’Grey’ Picture Adjust the CONTRAST control on the rear of the monitor

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
WHEN USING 2 CAMERAS.
To select a camera manually, use
the CAMERA button located on
the front of the monitor.
To set this monitor to scan
automatically between the cameras
select the AUTO mode and set
the camera dwell time on the
TIME adjustment.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of
with household waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or
retailer for recycling advice
