Note: PORT 1~3 indicators ③④⑤ function with GM-143 of RJ-45 jack only. GM-143 of

RJ45 jack can work with GMC-30 without port indicators functioning.

Instructions

1. Installation with GM-143 series

There are three ports ○

12 on the back of convertor. Each port can be connected with a

GM-143 series of up to 10 units. Each convertor can support 30 units at most.

2. System expansion

When more than 30 units are required or the ports aren’t enough, GMC-30 can link to

another convertor via its rear port ⑦ to support more GM-143 units.

3. CHAIRMAN-DELEGATE switch ⑥

If the convertor’s connected units include GM-143C (chairman unit), please slide the switch

to C. Otherwise, please slide it to S.

4. Audio output

There are two audio connecters on the rear of this unit, LINE-level unbalanced ⑧ and MIC-

level balanced ⑨. Use shielded audio cable for the connection between this unit and the

mixer/amp or audio source. If the mixer/amp has a LINE IN phone jack (1/4", 6.3mm),

connect a cable from the 1/4"(6.3mm) unbalanced audio output ⑧ from the convertor to the

mixer/amp. If the mixer has a MIC IN XLR jack, connect a cable from the balanced XLR

audio output ⑨ from the convertor to the mixer/amp.
