on level finished surface.

NOTE:

Read all installation instructions thoroughly before starting. Bracing material is required while concrete is curing.

Instructions:

1. Dig holes according to the Ground Plan above.

2. Insert (3) 5/16” x 1” Bolts(C) and (3) 5/16” Washers(D) into holes in Balance Beam Footer Plate and into

corresponding holes in In-ground Footer Plate(B).

Secure with (3) 5/16” Flat Washers(D) and (3) 5/16” Lock Nuts(E). See Figure 1.

3. Place assembled Balance Beam into holes making sure posts rest on brick. See Footing Detail.

4. Level Balance Beam using sway bracing.

5. Pour concrete according to Footing Detail. Allow 48 hours minimum for concrete to harden

before removing sway braces or using Balance Beam.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The stepping surface shall be fabricated from 10 gauge sheet metal with a thermoplastic coating.

The support posts shall be 2-3/8” O.D., 12 gauge tubing, galvanized.

Concrete Required :

Approx. .27 Cubic Yards (.2 Cubic Meters)

NOTE: Suggested Min. concrete rating: 3000PSI
