The AVS-21 is a two way A/V switcher designed for use with any of the PAC BCI interfaces. The AVS-21
can also be used as a stand alone unit for any application requiring a two way A/V switch.
Introduction & Features
Important Notes
1. The A/V output will pass the A/V 1 input at all times until the module is triggered.
2. The module can be triggered by either a positive or negative trigger, however when used with a BCI module it will always be a positive
trigger.
1. The black and red wires in the 2-pin plug are the trigger wires. If you are using the AVS-21 with a BCI interface you will connect the black wire
to ground and the red wie to the red programmable output wire on the BCI interface. If you are using the AVS-21 in any other application,
you can connect the red and black trigger wires to best suite your needs.
2. Connect the RCAs labeled “A/V1 IN” to the primary A/V source.
3. Connect the RCAs labeled “A/V2 IN” to the secondary A/V source.
4. Connect the RCAs labeled “A/V OUT” to the screen/head unit.
