SeaTalkng®utilizesasinglebackbonetowhichcompatibleequipmentconnectusingaspur.Data

andpowerarecarriedwithinthebackbone.Devicesthathavealowdrawcanbepoweredfromthe

network,althoughhighcurrentequipmentwillneedtohaveaseparatepowerconnection.

SeaTalkng®isaproprietaryextensiontoNMEA2000andtheprovenCANbustechnology.

CompatibleNMEA2000andSeaTalkandSea Talk2devicescanalsobeconnectedusingthe

input/outputconnectionsareNOTconnectedtoanMFDoranNMEA0183toSeaTalkng®converter

thatisconnectedtothesamenetworkasthegateway.
