Mounting the hood
Installation with wall cabinet mounted
a) Place the top edge of the template at the
centre of the lower edge of the cabinet
and mark off four holes on the wall. Make
four 8-mm diameter holes and insert the
plugs provided (Fig. 5).
b) Remove all the metal filters (Fig. 2)
c) From below, fit the upper casing of the
hood in the cabinet opening flush to the
wall until it stops and fasten it to the wall
with two 5 x 45 mm screws in the upper
plugs previously inserted in the wall
(Fig. 5) Insert three 4.5 x 13 mm wood
screws from inside the upper casing of
the hood in the lower edge of the cabinet.
d) With 4 guide pins insert the lower exhaust
part to the upper part and fasten with the
two clamps positioned one to the right
and one to the left. Finally, fasten the
lower part of the hood securely to the
upper using the five 4 x 8 mm sheet metal
screws provided. Insert two 5 x 45 mm
screws from inside the lower part of the
hood in the two 8-mm diameter plugs and
fasten the hood to the wall (Fig. 6).
e) Loosen the fastening screws of trim M so
that it slides to the desired height; then
retighten the two screws (Fig. 7, N).
f) Reinstall the three metal filters.
g) If the hood has to be disassembled (for
example for technical assistance) reverse
the above procedure.
Installation with wall cabinet not
mounted
a) Place the top edge of the template at the
height of the lower edge of the cabinet
and mark off four holes. Make four 8-mm
diameter holes and insert four 8-mm plugs
(Fig. 8). Remove all the metal filters (Fig.
2)
b) Fasten the lower part of the hood with two
5 x 45 screws in the two lower holes and
loosen the screws that fasten the trim so
that the trim slides to the desired height;
then retighten the two screws (Fig. 9).
c) From above, fit the upper part of the hood
flush to the wall on the exhaust part so
that it matches the four guide pins in the
respective holes. Hook the fastening
clamps to the right and left and snap
fasten upwards.
Using the five 4 x 8 mm sheet metal
screws provided, fasten the upper part of
the hood securely to the lower part with
two 5 x 45 mm screws provided, inserting
them from inside the hood in the upper 8-
mm diameter plugs (Fig. 6).
d) Mount the cabinet on the hood and fasten
with three 4.5 x 13 mm screws to the
lower edge of the cabinet.
e) Reinstall the three metal filters.
f) Disassembly (Technical Assistance)
Remove the metal filters. Remove the
lower part of the hood, removing first the
two 5 x 45 mm screws which fasten it to
the wall and then the 4 screws which
fasten it to the upper part of the hood and
unhook it from the two fastening clamps.
Remove the three 4.5 x 13 mm screws
which fasten the upper part of the hood to
the cabinet and the two screws which
fasten it to the wall. Pull out the appliance
downwards.
External exhaust operation
Make a 130-mm diameter opening on
the top of the cabinet for the exhaust
pipe (Fig. 10)
Internal recycling operation
a) Make a 115 x 115 mm opening on the
top of the cabinet and more
specifically on the vertical of the hood
outlet hole (Fig. 11).
b) Connect a 120-mm diameter non-
flammable tube to the flange on the hood
outlet hole. The height of the tube should
be equal to the distance between the
base of the flange and the upper edge of
the cabinet ceiling.
c) Fasten the deflector on the cabinet
ceiling to cover the previously made
hole (Fig. 11).
