Assemblingthemainunit

1. Connectrubberfeettothemainbase.

2. Connecttheairhosefromtheairintaketothesilencer.

3. Installthecupintotheneckoftheskimmer.A1/8

clockwiseturnwilllockthecupintoposition.



Selectasuitableplacetosetyourproteinskimmer.

1. Forbestresultsplacetheskimmerin8to10inchesofwater.Pleasemakesurethattheskimmer

isinnomorethan10inchesofwater.OtherwisetheQuick‐preciseadjustingvalvewi ll not

functionproperly.

2. Thepumpmustbecompletelysubmergedunderwaterwheninuse.



ToStart

1. Pluginthepump.

2. Themainchamberwillfillwithbubbles.CarefullyadjusttheQuick‐preciseadjustingvalve

(clockwisetoclose,thewaterlevelinthechamberwillgoup;counter‐clockwisetoopen,the

waterlevelwillgodown).Adjustthewaterlevelwithintheskimmertowherethecupmeets

theneck.Ifyouprefertheskimmatetobemoreliquid,thenadjustthewaterlevelhigher.

Otherwise,adjustitlowerandtheskimmatewilllooklikemud.

3. Itmayrequireseveraldaysfortheskimmertoreachmaximumperformance,duetotiny

amountsofoilorremnantsleftonthesurfacefrommanufacturing.Tospeedupthisprocess,it

isrecommendedtousewarmwatertocleanbeforeinstallation.(DONOTUSEANYSOAPOR

CHEMICALSTOCLEANTHESKIMMER)



PumpMaintenance

Removetheairtubefromtheventuri.

Pullouttheventuri(1)

Releasethe4screws(2)atthebaseofthebody.

Removethebody(3).

Releasethescrew(4)securingthebubbleplate.

Removeandcleanthebubbleplate(5).

Releasethescrews(6&7)holdingthepumptothebase.

Turnthevolute(8)counterclockwiseandremove(9).

Theimpellerwillcomewiththevolute.

Pulloutthebodyofpump(10)toclean.

Toremovethevolutecover,turncounterclockwiseandreleasetheneedlewheel.

Cleanallpartsandfollowthesestepsinreversetoreassemble.
