WALL CLADDING - BACK & ENDS
Note-Whenattachingwallcladding,alwaysensurethatthetopsheetisushwiththetopofthetop
timberframingplateandthattheendsofthecladdingsheetsareush and parallel with studs.
Thiswillensurethatwallpanelsaresquare.Alwaysscrewwallsheetsthroughthetrough(innerrib
closesttotheframe)oftheprole.
TOP WALL SHEET
• Takea2400mmlengthrearwallsheetandholditinpositionatthetopofthebackwall.Itmustbe
ushwiththetopoftoptimberplateandbothendsmustbeushwiththeoutsideofthestudsat
either end. (Fig. 1)
• Using1x25mmtekscrew,attachoneendofthesheettotheframeatthetoplefthandcornerof
the sheet (Fig.1)(a).Placethescrewapprox25mminfromendofthesheet(thecornerashing
will cover the screws).
• Repeatatthetopofthesheetattheotherendmakingsurethatthecladdingisushwiththetopof
the top plate. (Fig. 1) (b)
NOTE: The middle sheet will need to lap UNDER the top sheet, so don’t screw right at the
bottom of the sheet yet! The top sheet will nish 850mm below the top of the framing and the
second sheet nisheds 1617mm down (see Wall Cladding Fixing Pattern on the previous page.
• Toxthebottomofthesheet,makeamarkoneachcornerstud848mmdownfromthetopofthe
framing.(thisiswherethesheetwillend).Aligntheedgeofthecladdingandthecornerstud.This
ensuresthebackwalloftheshedissquare.Makesurethatthebottomofthecladdingisonthe
848mmmarkandplace1x25mmtekscrew2ribsupfromthebottomofthesheet(Fig. 3)(d). This
will let the next sheet sheet slide underneath.
MIDDLE & LOWER WALL SHEETS
• Positionthe2ndsheetunderneaththerstsheetsothatitisoverlappedcorrectly(Fig. 3). Asper
therstsheet,startinthetoplefthandcorner,placeascrewintheoverlapofthe2sheets(Fig. 3)
(e) and (Fig. 2)(f).
• Repeatatthetopattheotherend.Onceagainsquaretheframingupwiththecladdingandscrew
thebottomofthesheetusingthesameprocessasthetopsheet(Fig.2).Repeatwiththebottom
wallsheet(Fig.4)Bottomwallsheetshouldnishapprox30mmbelowbottomofbaseplate.
• Using25mmtekscrewsinthemiddleofthesheet,screwthethreewallsheetsoaspertheplan
on the previous page
-5x25mmTekscrewsperendofeachsheet
-3x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthetopwallsheet
-2x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthemiddlesheet
-3x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthebottomsheet.
Repeat the above steps with each side wall until you have nished the back and two end walls.
--IMPORTANT -- Make sure you align the side wall corrugate sheets with the back wall sheets
so that the height of the ribs line up.
