WALL CLADDING - BACK & ENDS
Note-Whenattachingwallcladding,alwaysensurethatthetopsheet
isushwiththetopofthetoptimberframingplateandthatthe
ends of the cladding sheets are ush and parallel with studs. This
willensurethatwallpanelsaresquare.Alwaysscrewwallsheets
throughthetrough(innerribclosesttotheframe)oftheprole.
TOP WALL SHEET
• Take a 4000mm length rear wall sheet and hold it in position at the
topofthebackwall.Itmustbeushwiththetopoftoptimberplate
andbothendsmustbeushwiththeoutsideofthestudsateither
end. (Fig. 1)
• Using1x25mmTekscrew,attachoneendofthesheettotheframeat
the top left hand corner of the sheet (Fig.1)(a). Place the screw approx
25mminfromendofthesheet(thecornerashingwillcoverthescrews).
• Repeat at the top of the sheet at the other end making sure that
thecladdingisushwiththetopofthetopplate.(Fig. 1) (b)
NOTE: The middle sheet will need to lap UNDER the top sheet,
so don’t screw right at the bottom of the sheet yet!The top sheet
will nish 848mm below the top of the framing and the second
sheet nisheds 1610mm down (see Wall Cladding Fixing Pattern
on the previous page
• Toxthebottomofthesheet,holdthetopsheetatagainstthe
framing and align the edge of the cladding and the corner stud.
Thisensuresthebackwalloftheshedissquare.Place1x25mm
Tekscrew2ribsupfromthebottomofthesheet(Fig. 3)(d). This
will let the next sheet slide underneath.
MIDDLE & LOWER WALL SHEETS
• Positionthe2ndsheetunderneaththerstsheetsothatitis
overlapped correctly (Fig. 3). Aspertherstsheet,startinthe
toplefthandcorner,placeascrewintheoverlapofthe2sheets
(Fig. 3)(e) and (Fig. 2)(f).
• Repeat at the top at the other end. Once again square the framing
upwiththecladdingandscrewthebottomofthesheetusingthe
sameprocessasthetopsheet(Fig.2)
• Repeatwiththebottomwallsheet(Fig.4)Bottomwallsheetshould
nishapprox30mmbelowbottomofbaseplate.
• Using25mmtekscrewsinthemiddleofthesheet,screwthethree
wallsheetsoaspertheplanonthepreviouspage.
-5x25mmTekscrewsperendofeachsheet
-3x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthetopwallsheet
-2x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthemiddlesheet
-3x25mmTekScrewsineachstudofthebottomsheet.
Repeat the above steps with each side wall until you have
nished the back and two end walls.
--IMPORTANT -- Make sure you align the side wall corrugate
sheets with the back wall so that the ribs line up.
