Cautions when opening the packaging

Vorsicht beim Öffnen der Verpackung

Thank you for purchasing our product. As this is a precision instrument, we have taken every

precaution with the transportation packaging. Follow the procedure below when opening the

packaging and removing the balance so as not to subject the balance to any shocks.

Wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf unseres Produktes. Da es sich um ein Präzisionsinstrument

handelt, haben wir bei der Transportverpackung alle Vorkehrungen getroffen.

Gehen Sie beim Öffnen der Verpackung und beim Herausnehmen der Waage

Attach the glass door (right) /

Installation Glastür (rechts)

As shown in the figure to the right; hold the glass door (right) handle

with your right hand and the top edge

with your left hand and lay the

bottom edge of the glass

door into the groove of the balance main

body rail. Align the rail with the main body top groove and raise

your left hand slightly to move the glass door into a horizontal

position while slowly inserting.

Close the glass door halfway and attach the stopper knob from

inside the weighing chamber so that it is parallel to the handle,

then fully close the glass door.

Halten Sie den Griff der Glastür (rechts) mit der rechten Hand

und die obere Kante mit der linken Hand und legen Sie die untere

If the stopper part of the stopper knob sticks out further than the handle, the door will not close

fully, so attach so that it is parallel to the handle. Refer to the figure on the right.

Verify that the stopper knobs are attached to the glass doors (top, left, right) before turning ON the power. Failure to do so could

result in the glass doors being damaged.

1. Attach the glass door (top) / Installation der Glastür (oben).

As shown in the figure to the right, insert the glass door

(top) handle towards the front of the top section, and

attach the stopper knob from inside the weighing

chamber so that it is parallel to the handle.

Insert the pin on the bottom center

The Adjustable Windbreak Plate can

be moved up and down by holding the

handle and pulling the lever. The lever

will reset and the adjustable windshield

plate will be locked in place when the

handle is released.

An ionizer (ABP-A01) is installed on the bottom

of the Adjustable Windbreak Plate so that items

to be weighed can be neutralized while inside

the weighing chamber.

Wire the ionizer (ABP-A01)

Wire as shown in the figure on next page so that the ionizer can be used. Check that the

switch is turned ON before using the ionizer.

der Ionisator verwendet werden kann. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Schalter auf

ON steht, bevor Sie den Ionisator verwenden.

Precautions

If the ionizer AC adapter cable interferes with the glass doors when the glass doors are

opened and closed, the doors will not open or close correctly. Make sure to secure the

cable using the adapter cable holder as shown in the figure below. For models other than

semi-micro models, please attach the included adapter cable holder before use.

Wenn das Netzadapterkabel des Ionisators beim Öffnen oder Schließen der Glastüren

stört, lassen sich die Türen nicht richtig öffnen oder schließen. Achten Sie darauf, das

Attach the adapter cable holder on

the back of the main body at the

location shown in the figure. Remove

the backing paper from the holder

to expose the adhesive surface, and

then press the adhesive surface to the

main body in the orientation shown in

the figure.

Connect the ionizer connectors (2

connectors) on the back of the ionizer

using the ionizer connection cable.

Insert the connected ionizer AC

adapter and AC cord into the DC IN

connector (for the ionizer). Connect the

ionizer power plug to a power outlet.
