Managing the control unit using the Came Mobile app
Using the Came Mobile app , just a few clicks means you can securely connect to your control unit and check the status of all the environments, activate scenarios
and interact with your home remotely, simply from your smartphone or tablet.
In order to manage the control unit via the Came Mobile app, you must first install firmware version 2.3.00 or later, install the 001SIGPRS GPRS module and install the
Came Domotic app 1.4.7 or later on your smartphone/tablet.
Security can be managed via a local connection, connecting directly to the IP address of the 001SIGPRS module interfaces (in this case, the 001SDGWF or 001SDETH
accessories are necessary) or via remote connection - in this case, you need to register on the CameConnect portal (see CameConnect chapter).
CONFIGURING CONNECTIVITY
The 001SIGPRS module can be connected to CameConnect using a GPRS connection, Ethernet connection (using the 001SDGETH accessory) or WiFi connection (using
the 001SDGWF accessory).
To program the parameters related to connectivity, use the following: SWLink in version 2.1.4, while for programming the graphic maps, Came D Sw softwa-
re version 1.2.2 or later is required.
CameConnect connectivity via GPRS [GPRS]
If connecting to CameConnect via GPRS, set the following:
a Select [GPRS] from the types of connection.
b Select [Connectivity] [GSM].
c Enter the [APN] (Access Point Name).
Generally, telephone operators publish this information on their websites.
d If you need to change the telephone number.
e Enter the [User Name] and [Password] for data connection.
Generally, telephone operators publish this information on their websites.
CameConnect connectivity via Ethernet [ETHERNET]
If connecting to CameConnect via Ethernet , it is necessary to use the 001SDGETH accessory to connect to the user network.
In the default configuration, the Ethernet interface is configured in static mode with the following IP address: 192.168.1.100. These settings should be
adapted to the customer’s network.
To set up connectivity via Ethernet, you must:
a Select [ETHERNET] from the types of connection.
b Select [Connectivity] [ETHERNET].
c Enable the DHCP Server if present in the customer’s network. In this way, the
001SIGPRS module automatically acquires the network parameters.
In the case of programming with DHCP, if a reading of the control
unit configuration is taken, the IP Address/Netmask fields show the address
acquired by the interface dynamically.
If you want to set up the module with a static address, disable this preference.
d Set the parameters in a manner consistent with the network where the device
is connected. You also need to set the DNSs for connectivity to CameConnect.
e Port to connect the PC for programming with SWLink.

In addition to connection to CameConnect for remote management, the 001SD-
GETH accessory also allows the control unit to be connected to a local network so

CameConnect connectivity via WIFI [WIFI]
If connecting to CameConnect via WiFi , it is necessary to use the 001SDGWF accessory. In this case, it is necessary to connect the module to the users WiFi network.
In the default configuration, the WiFi is configured as an Access Point c so that the PIR Camera sensors (IR sensors related to video verification) or other network devices
can connect directly to it.
- The default SSID is “CameSecurity-xxxx” (where xxxx are the last 4 digits of the keycode)
- Password: <Random string of 16 characters>
The WiFi data is written on the label inside the package.
The device’s Wi-Fi network is hidden, so it is not visible on scanning. To connect to the WiFi network, you have
to enter the SSID/Password credentials (see manual of the operating system of the PC on which you are working).
To connect to the WiFi network, you have to enter the SSID/Password credentials (see operating system manual).
To connect the GSM module to a home WiFi network, you must:
a Select [WIFI] from the types of connection.
b Select [Connectivity] [WIFI].
c Uncheck [Access point mode] in order to set WiFi mode as ‘Station’.
d Enter [SSID] and select the type of [PROTECTION] of the Customer’s network.
e Enter the [PASSWORD] for the Customers network.
f Enable the DHCP Server if present in the customer’s network. In this way, the
001SIGPRS module automatically acquires the network parameters.
In the case of programming with DHCP, if a reading of the control
unit configuration is taken, the IP Address/Netmask fields show the address
acquired by the interface dynamically.
If the customer’s network does NOT feature a DHCP Server, disable functionf
and manually enter the parameters related to the customer’s network g.
In addition to connection to CameConnect for remote management, the 001SD-
GWF accessory also allows the control unit to be connected to a local network so
that it can be managed by Came TouchScreens and using the Came Domotic app
on the same local network.
CameConnect
Thanks to the connection to a central server, CameConnect puts CAME DEVICES on the net, so they can be managed and controlled from any internet-connected device.

Registering the 001SIGPRS module on CameConnect
Once the device is configured to connect to CameConnect, you have to register the
001SIGPRS module to enable remote management services:
- Remote access via the Came Mobile app;
- Remote control unit programming via SwLink;
- Remote programming of graphic maps via Came D Sw.

Video verification
INTRODUCTION
The video verification system is able to detect the presence of people by means of IR technology, send the alarm message to the control unit, take photos of the area and
send them to the Came Cloud so that they are available to the user.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM COMPONENTS
The video verification system consists of the following devices:
1 - PIR camera sensor (001SIRWLFC-001SIRWLWFC):
The PIR camera sensor is the sensor that detects the presence of people and sends the alarm message to the control unit, then takes photos of the area and sends them
to the security GPRS module.
The PIR camera sensor is available in the following versions:
- PIR Camera 868 (001SIRWLFC): uses the RF868 radio to send alarm messages and images to the control unit;
- PIR Camera WiFi (001SIRWLWFC): uses the RF868 radio to send alarm messages and the WiFi to send images to the GSM module on the control unit. If the WiFi
signal is weak or absent, use the RF868 channel as a backup channel.
2 - Control unit plus GPRS module (001SIGPRS)
The GPRS module has the task of receiving the images from the PIR camera via WiFi (PIR-Camera WiFi) or directly from the control unit if the PIR camera uses the RF868
channel (PIR-Camera 868).
Upon receipt of the images, it will upload them on the Came cloud together with the alarm event information. It then sends an SMS to the user with the alarm data and
links to the Came Cloud where the images are available.
In the absence of the Cloud, it is possible to send an MMS with information about the alarm event with a photo attached.
Finally, the module sends an email to two recipients with information about the alarm and a photo attached.
3 - CameConnect
CameConnect’s task is to store the images and information related to the images.
SERVICES
Saving images and sending SMSs
To enable the image saving service on CameConnect and send SMSs with information about the alarm event and the link to the images, you need to:
a Enable the CameConnect service.
b Select [Services] [CameConnect].
c Enable the SMS notification service and select telephone numbers on which to
receive the notification. The telephone numbers are those set on the control unit
Sending via MMS
This feature allows you to send the first image and the information about the alarm event via MMS.
a Enable the sending of MMSs with information about the event.
b Select the type of configuration.
c Set the parameters required in order to configure the MMSs. See the MMS

Sending via email
You can enable the sending of emails with information and images about the alarm event to two recipients.
a Enable the notification service via email.
b Select [Services] [Email].
c Enter the system name in the [Sender] field and configure the email address
to which the notifications should be sent.
d Email sending can take place using the CameConnect mail server, selecting
[Mail server] [CameConnect email], or you can use another mail server by
selecting [Mail server] [Select other SMTP server].
In this case, refer to the email service provider site to obtain the correct parame-
ters required for configuration.

THE FIRMWARE VERSION 2.2.0
The new firmware brings together a number of important innovations that improve the performance of the control units and make them even more versatile:
Addition of certain system events;
Improvements to the GONG keypad feature;
MASKING feature for single control device (keypad and reader);
Display of open inputs when the control unit is off;
Output which can be associated with a partially armed area
Telephone alert if power-on fails;
Telephone alerts with dual protocol;

Some corrections have been made:
Handling of the remaining credit has been changed so as to be able to properly manage the WIND operator, as a result of changes made at the beginning of 2014;
Handling of the inputs acting as early warnings has been changed, so that they are considered ‘not ready’ when they stay open for longer than the set filter time;
The early warning feature has also been enabled for inputs defined as ‘delayed’;
Reader Masking - configured so that when the reader is in masking mode, the first reading of the tag is only used to exit masking mode, while the next one
performs the set action;
When the keypad goes into protection mode after 5 incorrect codes, the message WAIT will appear on the first line of the display, with a countdown of 100 seconds
in intervals of two. When the time is over, it will once again be possible to perform operations in the same way as previously. If masking is enabled on the keypad,
this display is not available;
The scanning speed of the local keypads in the 002SCP8048 and 002SCP6099WL control units has been increased;
The playback volume level of telephone messages via GSM line for the 002SCP8048 and 002SCP6099WL control units has been increased;
Minor bugs have been resolved.
SWLink (version 2.1.3) has been implemented:
The event memory can also be exported in .CSV format;
Display of wireless device field strength (RSSI) from the control unit status monitor;

MASKING feature for single control device (keypad and reader)
Previously, if the masking feature was adopted, it was applied to all the control de-
vices such as readers and keypads (“global” masking). Starting from this version,
you can decide whether or not to activate it for each device.
If the feature is active (SPECIAL FEATURES menu > see areas status for “nn”
sec.) the display will be enabled in each sub-menu for the individual keypads and

Power-on failed
To prevent the system from not being armed because there is an open input
blocking power-on, the following feature has been added:

When the control unit is armed, by entering the patrol code and pressing ‘D’ or using the decoded key, the set patrol time is initialised. On the keypad display, in place
of the symbol ‘#’ (totally armed area) or ‘P’ (partially armed area) the symbol ‘R’ will appear; for this period of time, the areas associated with the code or key will be
inhibited. When the timer set runs out, the areas will go back to being protected. To end the patrol in advance, simply enter a valid code and press ‘A’ or bring a valid
key close to the reader.
When the patrol feature is launched, the “START PATROL” event is memorised in the control unit log while the “END PATROL” event is memorised at the end of the event.
The first line of the display on the LCD keypad, when the masking feature is not active, shows the time remaining until the end of the patrol.
30 seconds before the end of the patrol, the buzzers on the keypads and readers are activated continuously.

launching a scenario with open inputs.

New Hardware Reset procedure
A new total reset procedure has been introduced, using DIP switch no. 3 on SW1 (located on the control unit motherboard).
The procedure can be activated in the same manner already used to reset codes (DIP switch no. 2) and enables the following operations to be carried out:
- Code reset;
- Key reset;
- Factory default of the configuration parameters.
Caution, this operation may take several minutes.
Display of wireless device field strength
This feature is available if, in addition to the control unit, the wireless receivers are also updated to version 2.0.2.

For wireless inputs, during the ‘inputs test, the RSSI field strength is displayed in the same format as the wireless receiver (from 1 to
6 notches).
Caution: the RSSI value is only displayed for the last wireless input that has transmitted; to view them all, you need to
open/close all the inputs one at a time.
From PXManager (version 2.1.3)
From the ‘Control Unit Status Monitor’ menu, you can see the receiver/repeater index (1st hop) (IDR), the RSSI signal quality (SQ) and the Battery Level for the
wireless devices (Batt.L.) such as sirens, keypads, volumetric sensors and magnetic contacts
As long as the ‘Control Unit Status Monitor’ remains active, the software will display all the data relating to communications between the devices and receiver.
The graphic bar for the RSSI level shows the worst condition of communications between Control Unit/Device (C>>P) and between Device/Control Unit (P>>C).
C >> P represents the signal level that the wireless device receives from the receiver (control unit)
P >> C represents the signal level that the wireless receiver receives from the device.

When the mouse is positioned with the pointer over the RSSI signal level or battery graphic bar, a superimposed message will appear with the values in “dBm” for the

In later chapters, we will explain how to associate a siren and wireless keypad with the system, and which are the various settings possible.
The various settings can be made by entering the installer menu from any wired keypad, from the local keypad (for CP6099WL) or via the SWLINK software, from which,
however, it is not possible to self-learn the sirens and wireless keypads. From a wireless keypad, it is not possible to enter the Installer Menu.
Depending on the settings in the Installer Menu Access parameter, which can only be set via SWLINK, the installer menu can be accessed directly by entering the
(default) installer code, or only after entering a user code registered in the system.

For CP6099WL, in both cases, after entering the installer code (default 222222), press “A”

Addition of a wireless siren to the system
Feature available in both easy and standard mode.
To add a wireless siren to the system, it is necessary to access the installer
menu. Enter the “02 SYSTEM” menu and then press the asterisk (*) to enter
“EDIT SYSTEM. Use the arrow keys (C and D) to scroll and choose “WIRELESS
SIRENS”, then use the number keys (1, 2, 3 etc.) to select the siren(s) that you
intend to add (press 1 to add the siren with address 01, 2 to add the siren
with address 02 and so on). Depending on the type of control unit, you can
add multiple wireless sirens (CP8048 max. 2, CP6099WL and CP8096 max.
4, CP8200 max. 8). If you add for example sirens 02 and 03, the display will

Wireless siren management
Feature only available in standard mode.
In the “29 WIRELESS SIRENS” menu, within the installer menu, some customised settings are possible for each wireless siren associated with the system. Once you
have pressed the asterisk (*) in the “29 WIRELESS SIRENS” menu, you will be able to select the wireless setting for which you want to change the settings.
Supposing that you want to change the settings of wireless siren 01, use the arrow keys (C and D) to choose “EDIT WL SIRENS 01 <> WL SIREN 001” and press the
asterisk (*).
In this menu, you can set the following:
AREAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WIRELESS SIREN (default: 3 areas ### )
Using the number keys, you can select the areas to be associated with wireless
siren 01
The siren tamper alerts are only associated with area 1, therefore to have these
alerts it is essential that at least one wireless siren is associated with area 1.

REGISTERING THE WIRELESS SIREN WITH THE SYSTEM
Press the hashtag (#) to return to the previous menu, or press the asterisk (*) to
start self-learning of wireless siren 01: The keypad will show the message “PRESS
BUTTON ON WIRELESS DEVICE”. At this point, press “P1” on the wireless siren
board to associate (14). The keypad will show the message “OK PRESS *”.
Once you have pressed the asterisk (*), the wireless siren 01 will be correctly
associated with the system.

Using the selection keys (A and B), you can choose whether or not siren 01 must
give visual alerts when the system is turned on, turned off and when there are
open inputs during arming.
If this parameter is set to “YES”, during the exit time, the LEDs of the wireless
siren 01 will flash once every 3 seconds. If, during the exit time, some areas
associated with siren 01 are not ready (at least one input is open), the LEDs will
flash twice every 3 seconds, until the the areas that are ready are armed. If the
input is later closed (and the area is therefore ready), the visual alerts will be
repeated.

Using the selection keys (A and B), you can choose whether or not siren 01 must
give visual alerts when the system is turned on.
If this parameter is set to “YES”, once all the areas that are ready have been
armed, the LEDs will flash quickly once for 3 seconds. If a new area is armed later
on, the system armed alert will not be repeated.

In summary, the visual and acoustic alert parameters for wireless sirens depend on the status of the areas associated with them:
The alarm alert (visual and acoustic) occurs when an alarm is triggered in at least one associated area.
The visual ‘system armed’ alert occurs when at least one associated area is armed.
The visual ‘system disarmed’ alert occurs when all associated areas are disarmed.
The visual ‘system arming’ (exit time) alert occurs when at least one associated area is being armed.

Addition of a wireless keypad to the system
Feature available in both easy and standard mode.
In a system with a CP6099WL control unit, in addition to the local keypad, you can add up to 7 other keypads (wireless and wired). The address 01 is exclusive to the
local keypad.
In a system with a CP8048 control unit, you can associate up to 4 keypads (wireless and wired). The keypad with address 01 must be a wired keypad.
In a system with a CP8096 control unit, you can associate up to 8 keypads (wireless and wired). The keypad with address 01 must be a wired keypad.
In a system with a CP8200 control unit, you can associate up to 16 keypads (wireless and wired). The keypad with address 01 must be a wired keypad.
Below is the procedure for adding a wireless keypad with address 02 to a CP6 or CP8 control unit:
You must first enable the keypad 02 by entering the installer menu. Using the arrow keys (C and D), select the “02 SYSTEM” menu and then, once you press the asterisk
(*), choose “EDIT SYSTEM”.
Again using the arrow keys, select “KEYPAD” and then press 2.
Then press the hashtag (#) twice to return to the installer menu. Use the arrow keys to select and press the asterisk (*) to enter the “05 KEYPADS” menu and then
“EDIT KEYPAD 02.
Press the asterisk (*) again to access to the edit keypad menu.
In the edit keypad menu, you can choose whether or not to add a wired keypad (WIRED) or a wireless keypad (WIRELESS). In our case, therefore, we use the selection
keys (A and B) to choose “KEYPAD TYPE 02 WIRELESS” and press the arrow keys D or C to select the menu, “LEARN 002 <> *=OK #=ESC”.
Then press the asterisk (*).

The keypad being set will show the message “PRESS BUTTON ON
WIRELESS DEVICE”. At this point, you need to enter the keypad menu
for the wireless keypad to be added by holding down the asterisk (*)
for about 5 seconds. Once in the menu, use the arrow keys (C and
D) to scroll and select ““LEARNING <> N°-- SN.xxxxxxxx.” (where
N° indicates the keypad address, which in this case is “--“ because
it has not yet been learnt, while the eight “x”s correspond to the
keypad serial number), then press the asterisk ( * ).
After a few seconds, the two dashes of the address will be replaced
by the number of the learnt address, while the keypad where the
settings have been made will display the message “OK PRESS *”.
Once you press the asterisk (*) in the local keypad, the 02 wireless
keypad will be associated with the system correctly.

STDCSN/STDCSB
The wired capacitive keypads 001STLCDFB (white) and 001STLCDFN (black) are replaced with 001STDCSB (white) and 001STDCSN (black) respectively. The two new
keypads have been produced respecting the aesthetic appearance of wireless keypads, from which they draw their main features, such as the backlighting managed by
the proximity sensor, the graphic status icons on the display and the built-in transponder reader.
They also feature two terminals (marked with the numbers 1 and 2), freely programmable as inputs or outputs for the control unit to which they are connected (the
terminals can be programmed and used to operate as wired inputs or outputs, respecting the maximum number of wired inputs and outputs for each control unit, which
does not vary with the addition of keypads).
Input/output management for the 001STDCSN (black) and 001STDCSB (white) wired keypads
Feature available in both standard and advanced mode.
Inside the keypad menu, at the heading preceding the DESCRIPTION parameter, only for LCD WIRED keypads, a new feature has been added which allows you to use
the two terminals on the keypad as outputs or inputs.

Via this heading, you can set whether or not the terminal is to be used.
Once you have chosen the desired terminal, you can choose one of the options
- DISAB. = the terminal is not used
- INPUT = the terminal is used as an input
- OUTPUT = the terminal is used as an output
If the option chosen is different to “DISAB.”, press the confirm button to go to
the window that lets you choose the number of the input/output to associate with
the terminal.
INPUTS THAT CAN BE ASSOCIATED
Only wired inputs (even one not present in the system or in a module that is not
installed).
If an input is associated that is physically present (for example an input in
the control unit), the physical connection of the input is not detected; all the
configuration parameters (including balance), are configurable in the associated
input.

Any output available. The functionality of the output also remains active for the
associated physical output. All the configuration parameters are configurable in
the associated output.

The firmware 2.1.00 enables the control unit to control supervised remote power supplies connected to the bus, properly addressed via the four DIP switches on the
board.
The power supply is capable of analysing whether or not there is a mains supply voltage, and of performing the dynamic battery test, releasing it when its voltage drops
below 10.0V (this is to prevent irreversible damage to batteries with capacity exceeding 7 Ah).
It is also able to perform a check on battery charging in relation to its temperature (via the dedicated temperature probe which is not supplied).
These analyses are visible locally on the LEDs present on the board, and also are recorded in the control unit event memory.

Early warning feature (default: 0)
Feature available in advanced mode.
Inside the areas menu, before the DESCRIPTION parameter, the “Early Warning” feature can be activated for each area.
A FILTER area will only be alarmed if, in a predetermined timeframe, a certain number of activations of inputs is reached. The activations that precede the attainment of
the predetermined number for the generation of the alarm are recorded in the event memory as “Early Warning” ( EARL.WARN. INP.xxx ); ONLY the last activation that
actually generated the alarm is recorded as an input alarm.
If, within a predetermined timeframe, the number of activations is not reached, the count is reset.
XXX = indicate early warning time in seconds (from 0 to 255) Default 3.

Visible and audible warnings during the early warning stage
If, during the early warning time, you wish to view the name of the inputs that are open on the keypads, accompanied by an audible alert (if enabled in the special
features), the “GONG” feature and the “GONG” alarm time must be active on these inputs in the area in question.
Caution: If you activate the “GONG” feature for an input that belongs to an area defined as EARLY WARNING, the “GONG” feature is no longer available
when the system is off.
Display of the alarmed inputs once the control unit is on
If the masking feature is not active, when the control unit is armed, the name of the inputs that generate an alarm is displayed on the keypad display. This occurs
regardless of the setting of the KEYPAD DISPLAY parameter in special features.
Caution: if the system is armed and the 001 input generates an alarm, the keypad displays “ALARM INPUT 001”. When the alarm time ends, the display
remains. If an additional alarm is generated, (for example, “ALARM INPUT 002”), the keypad will display descriptions of the two inputs in sequence.
Automatic reset of a “MEMORY” input (default: AUTOMATIC)

Inside the inputs menu, after the INPUT in AND parameter, the following
parameter has been added to allow you to choose the behaviour of a “MEMORY
input when it is reset.

Compatibility with Hei Security Mobile APP
With the new firmware, you can manage SMSs with the HEI Security APP, thanks to which the control units in the CP series (equipped with 001SGSM module) can be
managed remotely in an even simpler way. With the HEI Security APP, designed for the Android system, a special guided menu makes it possible to generate all the
system control SMSs immediately and intuitively with the maximum security level provided by the system.
It also allows you to view all the SMSs sent from the control unit to the user.
NOTES: On 002SCP8048, 002SCP8200 and 002SCP6099WL control units, the firmware 2.1.00 can be uploaded as normal, while on 002SCP8096 units, for
reasons related to management of the system memory, the voice synthesis board must be present in the control unit (001SGV64 or 001SGV256). 002SCP8096
control units produced from April 2014 (with C17022B vers. 2.1 or C17024 vers. 1.0 hardware, identifiable by the label on the board), will not have this constraint.
All the control units mentioned above produced from April 2014 will also be already equipped with FW 2.1.00.
