The HTUB12/24/48 is the standard enclosure (tub) for a
Watt Stopper Lighting Control Panel (LCP).
The HTUB12W/24D/48D is a larger enclosure with an inte-
grated DIN rail for mounting Class 1 accessories.
A complete panel assembly includes one each of:
1. Tub (HTUB series)
2. Interior with relays or contactors (HIN or ACP series)
3. Power Supply (HPSM115/277)
4. Cover to match the tub (HCVR series)
Separating these four components simplifies installation.
The Tub can be mounted early to allow conduit installation
and rough-in wiring. The Interior, which includes the relays
or contactors and the termination blocks, simply slides into
the Tub. The lighting circuits and low-voltage control wiring
can then be terminated in the Interior. Finally, the Cover
can be screwed into place to complete the panel
installation.

Mounting
The tub should be level, plumb and rigidly installed with hardware
sufficient to hold 100 lbs. (46 kg) minimum. See Figure 2 and the
photos for a typical mounting configuration. The product label should
be in the lower left corner of HTUB12/12W and in upper right corner of
HTUB24/24D and HTUB48/48D.
For multiple panels … For surface
mounting, allow a minimum of 0.25"
between adjacent tubs for shoebox cover
clearance.
If flush mounting … The front flange
should be flush with the finished wall
surface. Allow a minimum of 1.75" between
adjacent tubs for butt alignment of flush covers.
Wiring
Route line-voltage wiring and Class 2 low-voltage wiring from switches,
sensors, photocells and dataline (if used) through the top, bottom or
sides of the tub as shown in Figure 2 and the photos below.
For relay-based panels, confine line-voltage wire entry to the left side
and bottom of HTUB12/12W, and to the sides of HTUB24/24D and
HTUB48/48D as indicated by the gray areas in Figure 3.
In the HTUB24D/48D, the line-voltage area extends across the bottom
of the tub where the DIN rail is mounted (as shown). Low-voltage wire
entry should be confined to the areas shown in white.
For contactor-based panels (Basic Control, Smartwired and
Complete Control), confine line-voltage wiring to the right half of all
tubs and low-voltage wiring to the left half (see Figure 1).
CAUTION
Make sure all power is off before wiring. Do not
energize wiring until the unit is fully assembled.
Conform to all applicable building and electrical
codes when mounting the tub.
The tub should be level, plumb and rigidly mounted
Route wiring through the top, bottom or sides
