Before connecting the USB cable
to the laptop, make sure that the
DisplayLink driver is installed on the laptop.
Download driver at displaylink.com/downloads
Connect the USB cable.
NOTE! The configuration can in some cases take more than 60 seconds.
The consequential re-connections will be faster (~10 seconds).

You can also opt to connect the screen directly to your computer,
usually via HDMI, and then you don’t need the driver from DisplayLink.
