Electro-Voice 4P5 is a 5-watt amplifier that can be used with a microphone for Public Address installations, a magnetic, ceramic or crystal phono cartridge, a tuner, or other auxiliary equipment. The speaker output is for 8 ohms, 25 volt line, 70 volt line.

The amplifier has a slide switch to select the proper input jack on the side of the unit. It also has an AC receptacle on the side of the chassis to supply power to other components such as phonograph motor, etc.
