Activate and Set Up Your Phone
Set Up Your Phone on Sprint Prepaid
1. From your computer’s browser, visit
sprint.com/prepaidactivate.
2. Choose an activation option and click Next.
3. Enter your ZIP code and click Next.
4. When prompted, enter the MEID (DEC) serial
number printed on the label on your phones
packaging.
5. Follow the instructions to select a plan and
payment method.
If you’re swapping phones or bringing your
number over from a dierent carrier, follow
the prompts to sign in or provide additional
information.
Charge the Battery
1. Insert the small end of the charger cable into
the micro USB/charger jack at the bottom of
the phone.
2. Plug the charger into a standard AC power outlet.
Turn the Phone On
Press and hold the Power key.
Unlock the Screen
Drag the lock icon in any direction to unlock
the screen.
Activate Your Phone and Complete the
Setup Screens
1. Press and hold the Power key to turn the
phone on.
2. When you see the Welcome screen, select a
language and tap Start to begin the setup screens.
3. Follow the prompts on the next few screens
to get your phone set up.
Privacy - Select your options and tap Accept and
continue to continue.
Got Google? -
Create or sign in to a Google
Account. Select additional Google preferences,
including Google Location options, as prompted.
Wi-Fi - Follow the prompts to sign in to an
available Wi-Fi network.
Motorola Migrate - Follow the prompts if you
want to use Motorola Migrate to move content
from your previous Android phone to your
Moto G.
4. Make a phone call to conirm your phone’s
activation. If your phone is still not activated, visit
sprint.com/prepaidsupport for assistance.
If you do not have access to the Internet, call
Sprint Customer Service at 1-855-639-4644 from
another phone.
* You do not need to sign up for a Google Account to
use your phone; however, to download content from
the Google Play™ Store app, you must link your phone
to a Google Account.
