Installing the Connector Mount
Before drilling a hole to mount the connector, you should verify that the
microphone cable is long enough to reach the back of the stereo and the
connector mounting location.
You can use the included hardware to mount the connector on the end of the
microphone cable onto the dashboard or other mounting surface.

Orient the mounting plate with the flat edge of the central hole pointing
to the left, and place it on the surface where you plan to mount the
connector.
If you orient the plate with the flat surface pointing to any direction other
than the left, the microphone cable will not point downward when you
connect it.

Using the mounting plate as a template, trace the cable hole in the
center of the mounting plate, and mark the screw locations.

Set the mounting plate aside.
Do not drill through the mounting plate.

Using a 16 mm (

/
8
in.) drill bit, drill the center cable hole
in the
mounting surface.

Using a 2.5 mm (
3
/
32
in.) drill bit, drill the pilot holes.

Place the rubber gasket between the mounting plate and the mounting
surface.

Using the included screws, attach the mounting plate and gasket to the
mounting surface.
8
Route the microphone cable to the back of the stereo and to the connector
mount.
9
Feed the connector through the back of the mounting surface.
10
Secure the connector and weather cap to the mounting plate using the
nut .
NOTICE
If you disconnect the microphone from the connector, you should secure
the weather cap to avoid corrosion on the connector contacts.
Mounting the Microphone Hanger
NOTICE
If you are mounting the bracket on fiberglass with screws, it is recommended
to use a countersink bit to drill a clearance counterbore through only the top
gel-coat layer. This will help to avoid cracking in the gel-coat layer when the
screws are tightened.
You can mount the microphone hanger in a convenient location near the radio.

Select a mounting location for the microphone within reach of the
microphone cable.

Using the microphone hanger as a template, mark the pilot holes.

Drill the mounting holes using a 3 mm (

/
8
in.) drill bit.

Secure the microphone hanger to the mounting surface using the included
screws .
2 Installation Instructions
Connection Diagram
Microphone
connector
You can securely mount the microphone connector in an
accessible location (Installing the Connector Mount, page 2).
RCA connectors You must connect these to the AUX IN connector on the
stereo wiring harness.
If the stereo has more than one AUX IN connector, you must
connect to the AUX1 connector.
Compatible stereo
TELEMUTE You must connect the bare wire from the microphone cable to
the TELEMUTE wire on the stereo wiring harness if you want
the microphone to change the source when
activated(Operating the Handheld Microphone, page 3).
Negative (-) power
connection
For the best results, you should connect the negative (-) wire
from the microphone to the same negative (-) terminal as the
stereo.
Positive (+) ignition
power connection
You should connect the positive (+) wire from the handheld
microphone to the ignition wire from the stereo to avoid
draining the battery.
You must route the combined positive (+) and ignition wires
through a 3 A fuse before connecting to the ignition or manual
switch.

switch
The ignition or manual switch turns on the stereo and
microphone.

You should not connect the positive (+) wire from the
microphone to the constant power cable from the stereo to
avoid draining the battery.
Power source
Operating the Handheld Microphone
You must configure the stereo before you can operate the handheld
microphone (Configuring the Fusion Stereo for the Handheld Microphone,
page 3).
You can use the handheld microphone from any source on the stereo. If the
source is set to anything other than AUX1 when you hold the microphone
button, the source switches to AUX1 automatically, and switches back to the
original source after you release the button.
NOTE: You should stand behind the speakers that will be broadcasting from
the microphone. If you are standing in front of the speakers, the microphone
will pick up the broadcast and cause feedback.

Select any source on the stereo.
NOTE: If you set the stereo to the AUX1 source, there is no sound until
you hold the microphone button and speak.

Hold the button on the side of the microphone and speak into it.
NOTE: If the stereo is playing music from a source, you should wait about
2 seconds before speaking to avoid cutting off the beginning of your
announcement.

After you have finished speaking, release the button.
If the stereo was playing music from a source before you held the button,
the stereo switches back to that source automatically.
Configuring the Fusion Stereo for the Handheld Microphone

On the stereo, select
> SETTINGS > TELEMUTE.

Select AUX1 to fill the check box.
The stereo will now change to the AUX1 source when you hold the button
on the side of the handheld microphone.

Select > SETTINGS > SOURCE > AUX1.

Select PARTYBUS ENABLED to clear the checkbox.
When you clear the checkbox, the AUX1 source is no longer available for
streaming over the Fusion PartyBus
™
network. It is recommended to
disable network streaming for the microphone source to avoid feedback
caused by the slight delay present when streaming.
Adjusting the Gain of the Handheld Microphone
If the volume of the microphone broadcast is too loud or too quiet in relation to
the other sources on the stereo, you can adjust the gain level for the AUX1
source.

On the stereo, change the source to AUX1.

Adjust the gain to raise or lower the microphone volume in 1 db steps.
A positive (+) gain setting increases the microphone volume, and a
negative (-) gain setting decreases the microphone volume.

Installation du support du connecteur
Avant de percer un trou pour installer le connecteur, vérifiez que le câble du
microphone est assez long pour atteindre le dos de la chaîne stéréo et
l'emplacement de montage du connecteur.
Vous pouvez utiliser le matériel inclus pour installer le connecteur à l'extrémité
du câble du microphone sur le tableau de bord ou une autre surface de
montage.

Orientez la plaque de fixation de manière à ce que le bord plat du trou
central se trouve sur la gauche, puis placez-la à l'endroit où vous
souhaitez installer le connecteur.
Si le bord plat du trou sur la plaque ne se trouve pas sur la gauche, le
câble du microphone ne pointera pas vers le bas lorsque vous le
connecterez.

Utilisez la plaque de fixation comme gabarit pour tracer l'orifice du
câble au centre de la plaque de montage et marquer l'emplacement de la
vis.

Mettez de côté la plaque de fixation.

Fixez le connecteur et le capuchon étanche à la plaque de fixation à
l'aide de l'écrou .
AVIS
Si vous déconnectez le microphone du connecteur, il est recommandé de
fixer le capuchon étanche pour éviter toute corrosion sur les contacts du
connecteur.
Fixation du support du microphone
AVIS
Si vous montez le support de montage sur de la fibre de verre avec des vis,
nous vous recommandons d'utiliser un foret de fraisage pour percer un trou à
fond plat à travers le revêtement de la couche supérieure. Cela vous permettra
d'éviter de fissurer le revêtement au moment du serrage des vis.
Vous pouvez fixer le support du microphone dans un endroit pratique, près de
la radio.

4 Instructions d'installation
Vous pouvez utiliser le microphone main pour toutes les sources de la chaîne
stéréo. Si la source est définie sur autre chose que AUX1 lorsque vous
maintenez enfoncé le bouton du microphone, elle bascule automatiquement
sur AUX1, puis repasse à la source d'origine lorsque vous relâchez le bouton.
REMARQUE : vous devez vous tenir derrière les haut-parleurs qui diffusent le
son du microphone. Si vous vous tenez devant les haut-parleurs, le
microphone capte le son diffusé et provoque un larsen.

Sélectionnez une source sur la chaîne stéréo.
REMARQUE : si vous avez défini la chaîne stéréo sur la source AUX1, il
n'y aura pas de son tant que vous ne maintiendrez pas le bouton du
microphone enfoncé pour parler.

REMARQUE : si la chaîne stéréo diffuse de la musique à partir d'une
source, attendez environ 2 secondes avant de parler, afin d'éviter que le
début de votre discours soit tronqué.

Si la chaîne stéréo diffusait de la musique à partir d'une source avant que
vous n'appuyiez sur le bouton, elle repasse automatiquement sur cette
source.
Configuration de la chaîne stéréo Fusion pour le microphone
main

Sur la chaîne stéréo, sélectionnez > Paramètres > SILENCIEUX
TÉLÉPHONE.

Sélectionnez AUX1 pour cocher la case.
La chaîne stéréo bascule dorénavant sur la source AUX1 lorsque vous
maintenez enfoncé le bouton situé sur le côté du microphone portable.

Sélectionnez > Paramètres > SOURCE > AUX1.

Sélectionnez PARTYBUS ACTIVÉ pour décocher la case.
Si vous décochez cette case, la source AUX1 n'est plus disponible pour la
diffusion sur le réseau Fusion PartyBus. Il est recommandé de désactiver
la diffusion du microphone sur le réseau afin d'éviter un éventuel larsen
causé par le léger décalage du son lors de la diffusion.
Réglage de la sensibilité du microphone main
Si le volume du microphone est trop élevé ou trop bas comparé aux autres
sources sur la chaîne stéréo, vous pouvez régler la sensibilité de la source
AUX1.

par incrément de 1 décibel.
Le paramètre de sensibilité positif (+) permet d'augmenter le volume du

Installazione della staffa del connettore
Prima di praticare un foro per montare il connettore, è necessario assicurarsi
che il cavo del microfono sia sufficientemente lungo da raggiungere la parte
posteriore dello stereo e la posizione di montaggio del connettore.
È possibile utilizzare la minuteria inclusa per montare il connettore
sull'estremità del cavo del microfono sul cruscotto o su un'altra superficie di
montaggio.

Orientare la piastra di montaggio con il bordo piatto del foro centrale
rivolto verso sinistra e posizionarla sulla superficie in cui si intende
montare il connettore.
Se si orienta la piastra con la superficie piatta rivolta in una direzione
diversa da sinistra, il cavo del microfono non sarà rivolto verso il basso
quando viene collegato.

Utilizzando la piastra di montaggio come modello, tracciare il foro per il
cavo nel centro della piastra e contrassegnare le posizioni per le viti.

Passare il connettore attraverso il retro della superficie di montaggio.

Fissare il connettore e il cappuccio protettivo alla piastra di montaggio

AVVISO
Se si scollega il microfono dal connettore, è necessario fissare il cappuccio
protettivo per evitare la corrosione sui contatti del connettore.
Montaggio del supporto di aggancio del microfono
AVVISO
Se si sta installando la staffa su fibra di vetro con delle viti, si consiglia di
utilizzare una punta fresatrice per praticare una svasatura attraverso lo strato
di resina. In questo modo è possibile evitare crepe prodotte dal serraggio delle
viti nello strato di resina.
È possibile montare il supporto di aggancio del microfono in una posizione
comoda accanto alla radio.

È possibile montare saldamente il connettore del
microfono in una posizione accessibile (Installazione della

Connettori RCA È necessario collegarli al connettore AUX IN sul cablaggio
dello stereo.
Se lo stereo dispone di più connettori AUX IN, è neces-
sario collegarsi al connettore AUX1.

TELEMUTE È necessario collegare il filo senza rivestimento dal cavo
del microfono al filo TELEMUTE sul cablaggio dello stereo
se si desidera che il microfono cambi la sorgente quando

Funzionamento del microfono portatile
È necessario configurare lo stereo prima di poter utilizzare il microfono
portatile (Configurazione dello stereo Fusion per il microfono portatile,
pagina 6).
È possibile utilizzare il microfono portatile da qualsiasi sorgente dello stereo.
Se la sorgente è impostata su un'opzione diversa da AUX1 quando si tiene
premuto il pulsante del microfono, la sorgente passa su AUX1
automaticamente e torna alla sorgente originale dopo aver rilasciato il
pulsante.
NOTA: rimanere dietro agli altoparlanti che trasmettono dal microfono.
Rimanere davanti agli altoparlanti causa un feedback generato dal microfono
che intercetta la trasmissione.

Selezionare una sorgente sullo stereo.
NOTA: se si imposta lo stereo sulla sorgente AUX1, non verranno prodotti
suoni finché non si tiene premuto il pulsante del microfono e si inizia a
parlare.

NOTA: se lo stereo sta riproducendo musica da una sorgente, è

Lo stereo passa ora alla sorgente AUX1 quando si tiene premuto il

Selezionare PARTYBUS ABILITATO per deselezionare la casella di
controllo.
Quando si deseleziona la casella di controllo, la sorgente AUX1 non è più
disponibile per lo streaming sulla rete Fusion PartyBus. Si consiglia di
disattivare lo streaming di rete per la sorgente del microfono per evitare il
feedback causato dal leggero ritardo presente durante lo streaming.
Regolazione del guadagno del microfono portatile
Se il volume della trasmissione del microfono è troppo alto o troppo basso
rispetto alle altre sorgenti dello stereo, è possibile regolare il livello di
guadagno per la sorgente AUX1.

Installieren der Anschlusshalterung

Montieren der Mikrofonhalterung

Sie können das Handmikrofon von einer beliebigen Quelle auf dem Radio
verwenden. Wenn für die Quelle nicht die Option AUX1 ausgewählt ist und Sie
die Mikrofontaste gedrückt halten, wird automatisch zur AUX1 Quelle
gewechselt. Wenn Sie die Taste wieder loslassen, wird wieder zur
ursprünglichen Quelle gewechselt.

Instalar el soporte del conector

Si se monta el soporte en fibra de vidrio con tornillos, se recomienda utilizar
una broca avellanadora para realizar un avellanado que solamente atraviese
la capa superior de gelcoat. De esta forma se evitará que se agriete la capa
de gelcoat cuando se ajusten los tornillos.

Usar el micrófono de mano
Debes configurar el sistema estéreo para poder utilizar el micrófono de mano
(Configurar el sistema estéreo Fusion para el micrófono de mano,
página 10).
Puedes utilizar el micrófono de mano desde cualquier fuente del sistema
estéreo. Si la fuente se establece en un valor distinto a AUX1 cuando se
mantiene pulsado el botón del micrófono, la fuente cambia automáticamente a
AUX1 y vuelve a la fuente original después de soltar el botón.
NOTA: debe colocarse detrás de los altavoces que emitirán desde el
micrófono. Si se encuentra delante de los altavoces, el micrófono captará la
emisión y emitirá el acople.

El sistema estéreo cambiará a la fuente AUX1 cuando mantengas pulsado
el botón en el lateral del micrófono de mano.

Selecciona PARTYBUS ACTIVADO para desactivar la casilla de
verificación.
Al desactivar la casilla de verificación, la fuente AUX1 dejará de estar
disponible para la transmisión a través de la red Fusion PartyBus. Se
recomienda desactivar la transmisión en red de la fuente del micrófono
para evitar el acople provocado por el ligero retraso que se produce
durante la transmisión.
Ajustar la ganancia del micrófono de mano

Você deve configurar o sistema estéreo para poder operar o microfone portátil
(Configurar o sistema estéreo Fusion para o microfone portátil, página 12).
Você pode usar o microfone portátil a partir de qualquer fonte no sistema
estéreo. Se a fonte estiver definida para outra opção que não seja AUX1
quando você mantiver o botão do microfone pressionado, a fonte mudará
automaticamente para AUX1 e voltará para a fonte original quando você soltar
o botão.
OBSERVAÇÃO: você deve ficar atrás dos alto-falantes que irão transmitir o
som do microfone. Se você ficar em frente aos alto-falantes, o microfone irá
captar a transmissão e causará microfonia.

De microfoonophangbeugel monteren

U moet de stereo configureren voordat u de handmicrofoon kunt bedienen (De

U kunt de handmicrofoon vanaf elke bron op de stereo gebruiken. Als de bron
is ingesteld op iets anders dan AUX1 wanneer u de microfoonknop ingedrukt
houdt, schakelt de bron automatisch over naar AUX1 en schakelt deze terug
naar de oorspronkelijke bron nadat u de knop hebt losgelaten.
OPMERKING: U moet achter de luidsprekers staan die vanaf de microfoon

ハンドヘルドマイクの操作
ハンドヘルドマイクを操作する前に、ステレオを設定する必要
があります (ハンドヘルドマイクの Fusion ステレオの設定, 17 ペ
ージ)。
ステレオの任意のソースからハンドヘルドマイクを使用できま
す。 マイクボタンを押したときにソースが AUX1 以外に設定さ
れている場合、ソースは自動的に AUX1 に切り替わり、ボタン
を放すと元のソースに戻ります。
注： マイクの音声を出力するスピーカーの前には立たないよう
にしてください。 スピーカーの前に立つと、マイクがスピーカ
ーからの放送を拾ってハウリングの原因になります。

ステレオで任意のソースを選択します。
注： ステレオを AUX1 ソースに設定した場合、マイクボタン
を押して話すまで音は聞こえません。

マイクの側面にあるボタンを押しながらマイクに向かって話
します。
注： ステレオがソースからの音楽を再生している場合は、ア
ナウンスの冒頭が切れないように、約 2 秒待ってから話して
ください。

話し終わったら、ボタンを放します。
ボタンを押す前にステレオがソースから音楽を再生していた
場合、ステレオは自動的にそのソースに戻ります。
ハンドヘルドマイクの Fusion ステレオの設定

ステレオで、 > 設定 > テレミュートの順に選択します。

AUX1 を選択して、チェックボックスをオンにします。
ハンドヘルドマイクの側面にあるボタンを押し続けると、ス
テレオが AUX1 ソースに変わります。

> 設定 > ソース > AUX1 の順に選択します。

PartyBus 有効を選択して、チェックボックスをオフにしま
す。
このチェックボックスをオフにすると、AUX1 ソースは Fusion
PartyBus ネットワーク経由のストリーミングに使用できなく
なります。 ストリーミング中に発生するわずかな遅延による
ハウリングを避けるため、マイクソースのネットワークスト
リーミングは無効にすることをお勧めします。
ハンドヘルドマイクのゲインの調整
マイクによる放送の音量がステレオの他のソースに対して大き
すぎる、または小さすぎる場合は、AUX1 ソースのゲインレベル
を調整できます。

ステレオで、ソースを AUX1 に変更します。

ゲインを調整して、マイクの音量を 1 db ずつ上下します。
プラス（+）ゲイン設定を使用するとマイクの音量が上が
り、マイナス（-）ゲイン設定を使用するとマイクの音量が下
がります。
