Using the moulds
• The moulds must be dry and clean
before pouring in chocolate.
• Melt the chocolate in the melting pot
and pour the chocolate mass into the
mould as precisely as possible.
• Spread it evenly using the spatula (7),
and remove any excess chocolate.
• Place the mould in the refrigerator until
the chocolate is totally set. Then
carefully press the chocolate pieces out
of the mould.
Tips!
•Your electric chocolate melting pot can
be used to make numerous different
things. Just have a go! For instance,
you can use it for chocolate fondue or
any of the following:
o chocolates
o chocolate-coated fruit or biscuits
o chocolate sauce
o chocolate mousse
• Use the utensils (8-11) to dip fruit,
biscuits, marzipan, etc. into the melted
chocolate.
• Use the cooling rack (6) to harden and
cool chocolates, coated fruit, etc.
before putting them in boxes.
•Why not experiment by adding
chopped nuts or almonds, desiccated
coconut, coffee, liqueur, etc. to the
chocolate. If the chocolate is too runny
because you have added other
ingredients, you can try allowing it to
cool a little or adding more chocolate.
• Please note that some types of
chocolate melt more quickly and are
runnier than others.
CLEANING
• Remove the plug from the socket
before cleaning.
• Clean the chocolate melting pot using a
dampened cloth and, if necessary, a
little washing-up liquid.
• The melting pot, moulds and utensils
can be cleaned using warm water and
washing-up liquid. They are not
dishwasher-safe.
• Do not use sharp instruments to clean
the basic unit, melting pot or moulds.
