The system provides the most stable and compatible personal entertainment environment.
The InterVideo InstantON allows you to play MP3 files from your hard disk drive,

General requirements: Non-paritioned and clean 350MB HDD space.
The paragraph here will cover the following issues:
z Installation: Install InterVideo InstantON from the Installation CD.
z Recovery: Recover InterVideo InstantON from the OEM provided image (HDD or
CD).
Update: Keep InterVideo InstantON up-to-date. Update it from the Setup menu.
InterVideo will provide an installation CD. It is a bootable disc. This disc can be used to
install InterVideo InstantON to the user’s system. We recommend two procedures for
using the installation CD.
Installing on an Empty HDD
In this case, InterVideo InstantON installation CD will create a 350MB partition and
install InterVideo InstantON to that partition. After completing the fourth step, the user is
able to enjoy the full functionality of InterVideo InstantON. Windows XP can also be
installed now. Since InterVideo InstantON already occupies the first partition on the HDD,
Windows XP will be placed on the D drive instead.
1. Make sure the HDD is completely empty. There are no partitions on the HDD.
2. Place the installation CD in the optical drive.
3. Power up the system. It will boot from the installation CD.
Follow the instructions on screen to finish the installation.
Installing on an HDD that Is not Empty
1. Install Windows XP. Please be sure to leave at least 350MB of free space
(non-partitioned space).
2. Place the InterVideo InstantOn installation CD in the optical drive.
3. Power up the system. It will boot from the installation CD.
4. Follow the instructions on screen to finish the installation.
InterVideo InstantON CD will create a 350MB partition in the free space and then install
itself in that partition.
7
Installation Steps
The onscreen steps during installation are as follows:
1. Welcome Page and Language Selection.
2. Area Selection
3. Available free space (at least 350MB of
non-partitioned free space) or a
previously installed partition is found.
However, if it fails to find the available
space, an error message will appear.

Second, the user enters InterVideo InstantON and selects the “update” item in the Setup
