Powering
Press the power button for 3 seconds to start up and press the power button again to shut
down.
1. Audio Recording: Press the button to start recording audio. The recording icon will
appear on the top-left corner.
2. Video Recording: Press the button to start recording video. The recording icon will
appear on the top-left corner.
3. Main Menu: Opens the main menu.
Note:
When the battery is low, the camera will prompt “low battery” and shut down
automatically.

OPERATION
4. Recording Lock: Pressing this button will lock the current recording until it is
pressed again. Locked videos will not be overridden by other recordings. If you
want to delete a locked recording, you can do so from the playback menu.
5. Date/Time: Displays the current date & time.
Main Menu (Full-Screen Touch)
Video: Opens the main video interface.
Photo: Switches to photo model.
Playback: Opens the playback menu.
Setting: Opens the settings menu.
Format: Deletes all data from the SD card.
Power-off: Turns the camera off.
Settings Menu
Resolution: Adjust the resolution of the video being recorded.
Image quality: Adjust the image quality of photos.
Audio: Adjust the audio volume.
Parking wake: Monitors for movement when parked.
TimeSet: Set the date and time.
Auto Power-off: Set up the auto power-off function.
Cyclic Record: Adjust the settings of cyclic recording.
Motion detect: Set up the motion detect function.
G sensor (optional): Set the gravity sensor (not available on all models).
Bepp sound: Turns the button sounds on/off.
Flicker: Adjust video settings to avoid light sources flickering.
Tft savers: View information about the SD card.
Playback Mode
Short press the home icon to enter the menu and select playback. Use the arrow icons to
select a file to replay and press the play icon to begin playback. Press the home icon again
to return to the main menu.
Reversing Camera
Firstly, the car charger must be connected to the recording unit and the red power line of
the rear camera must be internally wired to the reversing light indicator this should be
carried out by a qualified mechanic.
When the reverse gear is engaged, the display will show the feed from the rear camera and
switch off when the car is no longer in reverse.
Parking Monitoring
After connecting the supplied hardwire kit, the parking monitoring function can be enabled.
If a vibration is detected while the camera is off (sensitivity can be set), the recorder will turn
on and record automatically before switching off.
Motion Detect
After connecting the supplied hardwire kit, the motion detect function can be manually
enabled. If movement is detected in the shooting area while the camera is on, the recorder
begins recording automatically before switching off.
Charging the Battery
The charging time is approximately 180 minutes. The charging symbol will illuminate while
charging and turn off automatically when charging is complete.

SPECIFICATIONS
1. Cannot record
Ensure there is free space and the SD card is not locked.
2. Recording automatically stops
This may be due to the high bandwidth requirements of HD video. Use a high-speed
SD card compatible with SDHC.
3. “File error” message upon playback
Recorded data is corrupt. Reformat the SD card.
4. Footage is blurry
Ensure lens is clean.
5. Sky, water, etc. are very dark in captured footage
Scenes with large contrast will affect the camera’s automatic exposure function.
Modify the “EV” value.
6. Colours are incorrect on cloudy days or indoor lighting
Ensure “White Balance” is set to automatic.
7. Distortion with horizontal stripes on recorded footage
Change from 60Hz to 50Hz or vice versa.
8. Camera crashes
Short press reset button to restart.
