Check Capacity
2 Ensure that the total current of all the units connected to the wall outlet does not
exceed power supply capacity.
When using the extension cord, ensure that the total current of all the units con-
nected to this extension cord does not exceed the specification of the extension
cord.
If it exceeds the specified current or power supply capacity, fire hazards may result.
3 Do not scratch, damage, or remodel the power cord.
Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, nor pull or bend it.
Or the power cord will damage and cause fire and electric hazards.
6 Disconnect the power plug from the outlet by pulling the plug instead of the power
cord.
Pulling the power cord will damage the power cord and cause fire and electric haz-
ards.
7 If the power plug or cord becomes abnormally hot, first turn off the power switch
and disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
If used continuously in this state, fire and electrical hazards may result. Contact
your dealer.
4 Do not bind up the power cord even if it is too long, or this will cause poor heat
emission and fire hazards as a result.
5 Do not touch the power plug with wet hands, or electric hazards may result.

5. NAMES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROL PANEL PARTS
This button is used to memorize the stopping position of the folding stopper, stacker,
etc. when moved in special folding modes such as cross folding and non-fixed folding
modes, etc.
Up to two registration methods can be memorized. Once memorized, the registered
data is preserved even after the power is turned off.
To erase the registered data, keep pressing the corresponding registration button (1) or
(2) until the buzzer sounds.
This button is used to register the correction value when the folding stopper is adjusted
finely in the fixed folding mode.
Up to 36 types (No. of fixed folding modes x paper type) of correction values can be
registered.
To erase the registration, select the folding mode of the corresponding paper size to be
delected and continue pressing this button until the buzzer sounds.
This window displays the number of processed sheets (counter), the values input for
paper length, error messages, etc.
This window displays the size of paper placed on the paper feed table which is
automatically determined (fixed sizes of A3 to B6).
Also displays the operation state “ O . P” when the paper length is input.
This window displays six types of fixed folding modes.
The display lamp blinks when a mode registered for folding correction is selected.
This lamp lights up when the special folding mode is set.
This mode cannot be selected if no special folding method has been registered.

Straighten folded or curled paper before use.
Make sure that the ink on the paper has dried up properly
before use.
If the ink has not dried properly, it may dirty the
machine, and cause other problems such as dirtying the
folded surface with ink, etc.

6. PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
6-2. PRECAUTIONS FOR STACKING PAPER
If the paper is not stacked neatly on the paper feed table,
the unit will not be able to read the size of the paper
accurately and as a result, may determine the paper as
outside the standard size. Therefore, be sure to stack the
paper neatly.
The paper feed table has a built-in device for reading
paper size.
Take note that this device will not be able to read the
paper size correctly if the paper is stacked unevenly.
This may as a result cause problems.
Automatic paper size detection can be carried out for
paper up to ±2.5 mm of the fixed paper.
If the paper is not stacked properly lengthwise, mis-feed
or chain feed may occur.
When stacking just a few sheets of paper on the paper
feed table, lower the paper set lever while pressing the
back edge of the paper.

for a few seconds for this to complete which is
indicated by the sound of the buzzer.
2 Raise the paper set lever and place
some paper on the paper feed table.
Loosen the fixing screws of the guide, and move
the guide slightly more than the width of the paper.
Loosen the paper and stack sheets of paper neatly
