WARNING:

This vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission capable remote car

starter. This remote start function could pose certain significant risks if it

is not used properly. Please acknowledge, by signing this form and send-

ing it to Directed Electronics at the address below, that you have been

properly trained on the use of this product by the installer, are aware of

the risks, and that you have taken and will take the appropriate safety

precautions specified below.

1. I have read and understand the Users’ Guides for the remote starter and for the manual transmission module that is installed

in my vehicle.

2. Warning labels have been placed on the inside windshield of my vehicle and under the hood at the latch.

3. The proper use of the remote starter has been demonstrated to me by the dealer.

4. I have tested the remote starter with the dealer according to the manufacturer’s procedures to conﬁrm that it has been

properly installed and does not start the vehicle unless all safety steps outlined in the User’s Guide have been followed.

5. I understand that the manual transmission remote start system should be demonstrated to any purchaser upon resale of the

vehicle in which it was installed and the Users’ Guides should remain with that vehicle.
