Attach the pipe to the wheel arch, positioning the pieces as shown in the photo. Check that you have attached the components correctly.

Attach the circuit board (wiring 2, plug marked C2)

that you received with stage 85 to the wheel arch.

Make sure the screw holes are aligned.

Secure the pieces with

one of the screws you

received with stage 85.

Attach the circuit board, positioning the pieces

as shown in the photo.

Be careful not to damage the components

of the circuit board.

Apply a drop of glue, as shown in the photo,

to secure the circuit board to the car body.

This is the result of this

assembly session. As always,

keep the pieces

in a safe place.

THE CAR BODY

You have finally received the main body of your model, so in this stage

you will attach the doors and other components you worked on in the

previous stages.

Attach the boot lid you worked on in stage 84 to the body.

Turn the body over and place one of the mount brackets you received

with stage 84 in the position shown in the photo.

Check that the boot lid opens and closes smoothly.

Now attach the second mount bracket you received with stage 84, as shown in the photo. Secure the pieces together with another of the screws

you received with stage 84.

To avoid damaging any components during the next few sessions, apply two strips of

adhesive tape to keep the boot lid closed.

Now secure the door

windows with adhesive tape.

This way, you will avoid

damaging any components

while working on your model.

Attach the left door to the

car body, positioning

the pieces as shown

in the photo.

Secure the pieces together

with two type A screws.

Now attach the right door to the car body.

Secure the pieces together with two type A screws.

Apply another strip of adhesive tape

to secure the door.

Apply another strip of adhesive tape

to secure the door.

From the inside of the car body, insert and tighten

one type B screw in the circled hole.

Now insert and tighten two type B

screws in the holes circled in the photo.

Get the front section of the body and attach it to the main

section, positioning the pieces as shown in the photo.

We recommend you secure the bonnet with two strips of adhesive tape.

THE WINDSCREEN

In this stage you will attach the windscreen to the body of your 1:8 scale

Mazda Cosmo Sport model.

Screws (2.3 x 4mm) x3

Attach the windscreen to the car body,

positioning the pieces as shown

in the photo.

Turn the body over and insert one

of the screws you received with this stage

in the circled hole. Don’t fully tighten it.

Now insert a second screw into the hole

circled in the photo. Again, don’t fully

tighten it.

To attach the top of the windscreen to the body, push it in

the direction indicated by arrow A and press at the point

indicated by arrow B.

Now you can tighten the two screws you inserted in step 1. Be careful: over-tightening the screws

could damage the components.

Do the same on the other side of the windscreen.

Finally, press the top of the windscreen in the middle.

THE REAR WINDOW

In this stage you will attach the rear window to the car body, in more

or less the same way you attached the windscreen in the previous

assembly session.

Stickers

Attach the rear window to the body, positioning the pieces as shown in the photo. Turn the body over and secure the pieces together

with two of the screws you received with this stage.

Do not fully tighten the screws.

To attach the top of the rear window to

the body, push it in the direction indicated

by arrow A and press on the point indicated

by arrow B.

Do the same on the other side

of the rear window.

Now you can fully tighten the

screws you inserted in step 1.

Attach the sticker to the platform of

your model, as shown in the photo.

Again, use a piece of cotton wool

or a cotton bud to secure it firmly

to the platform.

Attach the sticker to the platform of

your model, as shown in the photo.

Gently press on the sticker with

a piece of cotton wool or a cotton

bud, so that it attaches firmly

to the platform.

Now remove the other sticker from its backing.

Remove the sticker shown in the photo from

its backing.

This is the result of this

simple assembly session.

Keep everything

in a safe place with

the rest of the pieces.

THE ROOF PANEL

In this stage you will attach a panel to the underside of your model’s roof.

Double-sided adhesive tape

Screws (2.3 x 4mm) x3

Remove the paper backing from one side

of the double-sided tape. Attach the tape

to the panel, as shown in the photo, and then

remove the second piece of paper backing.

You are now going to attach the

panel to the body. Position the

pieces as shown in the photo.

Attach the panel to the body by inserting the small linchpins circled in the photo into the corresponding holes in the panel.

Insert and tighten two of the screws

received with this stage in the circled holes.

Press the middle of the panel to attach it firmly to the body.

This is the result of this

simple assembly session.

The body is almost ready

to be attached to the

rest of your model.

In this assembly session you will install your model’s seat belts.

Follow our instructions and explanatory photographs very carefully.

Look at the photo carefully to familiarise

yourself with the seat belts. The top

seatbelt in the photo shows the front

of parts A.

Now attach one of the parts A, positioning

the pieces as shown in the photo.

Arrange part D of the left seat belt on your work

surface.

Arrange part A as shown in the photo.

Insert the free end of part A into the buckle, as shown in the photo.

Look at the photo to help you adjust the length

of part A.

Repeat the previous steps to assemble

the right seat belt, using the second part A

and part C.

Cut off the excess piece of part A,

as shown in the photo.

Get the body of your model and attach the two air vents to it, positioning the pieces as shown in the photo.

Insert the linchpins on the buckle into the corresponding holes in the body, as shown in the photo.

You will now attach the right seat belt (shown in the photo)

to the body.

Attach the rear-view mirror to the car body, positioning the

pieces as shown in the photo.

Be careful not to damage the components as you work on them.

Attach the left seat

belt to the car body

in the same way.

Now you can finally attach the seats

to the platform: start with the driver’s

side, as shown in the photo.

Now attach the passenger seat.

Arrange parts B of the

seat belts over the seats,

as shown in the photo.

Position one of the parts B as shown

in the photo.

Insert the buckle into the circled hole in the platform.

Do the same with the second part B

on the other side of the platform.

THE BOOT LINER

In this assembly session you will install a mat that acts as the boot liner

of your model. You will also replace the front suspension springs with the

two you received with this stage.

Now attach the lock to the body, positioning the pieces

as shown in the photo.

Remove the strip of adhesive tape securing the jack handle.

Press until the pieces click together.

Place part B of the mat on the floor of the boot.

If necessary, you can enlarge the holes of the lock slightly

with a file.

Check that the holed linchpins are inserted into the holes

in part B.
