Assembly Instructions
Step 1
List of tools needed
Adjustable Wrench•
#2 Phillips Screwdriver•
1/8” Allen Wrench•
Verify Parts
Center Mounting Rod•
Media Rod and Wheel•
Cross Brace•
Step 2
Remove the Conveyor and the Stand from the box•
Lay the Conveyor on the fl oor or workbench as shown•
Step 3
Remove the nut and•
two collars from the
Center Mounting Rod
Install the Rod as shown•
Install the two collars on•
the Rod. Do not tighten
Step 4
Lift the second pair of•
legs and slide the Rod
through the center hole
With the four legs in•
position, install the nut
on the Rod
Step 5
Using the adjustable•
wrench, tighten the two
nuts on the Rod
Step 6
Slide a collar fi rm against the•
legs
Tighten using the 1/8” allen•
wrench
Repeat for the second collar•
Step 7
To install the Cross Brace,•
loosen the Nut on the front
Mounting Rod
Slowly slide the rod out of•
the mount on the conveyor
and out of the leg. Make
sure you are holding the
leg to prevent it from
swinging up once
disconnected
Step 8
Remove the two nuts from•
the Cross Brace and
install as shown
Install the two nuts on the•
cross brace and tighten
with the adjustable
wrench
Slide the Mounting Rod•
back into place and install
the nut and tighten

Step 9
Tighten both nuts on the•
cross brace using the
adjustable wrench
Step 10
Slide the collars fi rm•
against the legs and
tighten using the 1/8” allen
wrench
Go to the Back Mounting•
Rod and slide the
collars fi rm against the
legs and tighten
Check that all of the nuts•
and collars are tight and
secure
Step 11
Have someone help turn the•
conveyor over and into the
upright position as shown
Step 12
Locate the Media Rod and•
Wheel and install as shown
Loosen all of the thumb screws•
and adjust the position as
shown and then tighten
The Media Wheel should be•
close to the center of the
conveyor
Adjustments forward and•
backward will depend on the
media length
Step 13
Connect the Conveyor’s 9-pin •
power cable to the 9-pin
connector on the back of the
Ilumina
Step 14
Slide the conveyor•
into position as
shown
Notice that the•
conveyor is tight
against the Ilumina
Step 15
To increase or decrease•
the belt tension, loosen
the screw on the
adjustment plate
To increase tension, push•
the plate counter
clockwise and tighten
the screw while holding
the plate in position
Step 16
Belt guides on the bottom of the conveyor control the tracking•
position of the belts
The Exit Conveyor is now ready for use. Notice that the conveyor runs
only when needed.
To test the Conveyor, set the speed control knob on the front of the
Ilumina Press to Maximum. Power the Ilumina Press on. During the
initialization process the Conveyor will run for a few seconds and then
shut down.
The Conveyor will run when a print job sent to the Ilumina Press
begins printing. The Conveyor will shut down once the Ilumina Press
has completed the print job and returned to an idle state.
