1. Remove the stock gauge cluster from the dash and save all hardware throughout disassembly for

reassembly.

3. Mount the VHX display into the bezel using the four (4) factory screws from disassembly. Connect

the 36” CAT5 cable to the back of the VHX display.

2. Looking at the back of the gauge cluster; remove the clock, speedometer, headlight switch

assembly, and mounting brackets so you are left with a bare bezel. Use a 5/64 allen wrench for the

set screw at the bottom of the bezel to remove he clock and headlight assembly.

4. Mount the bezel assembly to the dash using the same hardware from disassembly. Take care when

routing the CAT5 cable to the control box mounting location.

7. Secure the VLC clock assembly and the headlight switch assembly to the stock gauge bezel using a

5/64 allen wrench. Be careful not to overtighten the set screws and take care when routing the CAT5

cable to the control box mounting location.

5. Disassemble the clock; the only parts that will be reused are the bezel and the mounting clip. The

lens and trim is swaged in place so the tabs will need to be ground down so they can be removed.

Pay attention to the mounting clip orientation so it can be reassembled in the same fashion.

6. Secure the VLC clock into the clock bezel using the supplied screws. Make sure to orientate the

clock mounting tab on the back of the VLC clock in the same direction from disassembly. Connect

the 60” CAT5 cable as well as the VLC power harness to the back of the VLC clock.

8. Refer to the main manual and the 650462 clock manual for wiring instructions to complete the

VHX installation.
