VISUAL COMFORT ARN 4172 is a large flush mount light fixture that adds a touch of elegance to any room. It features a crystal assembly with multiple layers, providing a beautiful and eye-catching centerpiece. The fixture is easy to install and comes with all the necessary hardware, including mounting plate, screws, anchors, and wire nuts. It requires 12 light bulbs (not included) and is compatible with various bulb types, allowing you to customize the lighting to your preference.

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

2. Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (E) by removing threaded

nuts (F).

3. Using mounting plate (C) as a guide, line up with the junction box and

mark anchor positions.

4. Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the

marked positions. Install anchors (T) into the holes using hammer.

5. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with

mounting screws (D), then secure wood screws (U) to anchors (T).

6. Run support cable through hole on back of mounting plate (B). Loosen

cable lock and install to end of support cable. Insert other end of cable

through the cable lock and tighten ends with a screwdriver to secure.

7. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding

screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and

connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using

wire nut (A).

NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.

8. Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually

white) using wire nut (A).

9. Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black)

using the wire nut (A).

CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,

local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction

and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and

contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install.

Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

10. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the

junction box.

11. Install canopy (E) to mounting plate (B) and secure with threaded

nuts (F).

12. Install light bulbs into sockets.

Crystal Assembly - Use diagrams labeled Layer 1 - Layer 3 to complete

crystal assembly below:

1. Hang crystals (I, J & H) to bottom ring (Layer 1) starting from inside

and working your way out. Secure using provided pliers.

2. Hang the rest of crystals (H) onto rings from medium (Layer 2) and

working your way to the top ring (layer 3) . Secure using provided

pliers.

3. Hang crystals (G) to bottom ring (Layer 1), working your way to the

top ring (layer 3). Secure using provided pliers.

4. Thread finial (L) to nipple (K).

Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do

not use abrasive or chemical agents.
