Select the Wireless SSID you intend to connect and enter the password.

The PEN1201’s SSID will be auto set to follow the selected Wireless SSID
name with additional suffix “-ext” as a differentiator. You may change this
value according to your personal preference. Note that the PEN1201’s Wireless
Password (Wireless Key) will be the same as the selected Wireless SSID.

Click the Save button to finish the setup wizard. Note that you will be
disconnected temporarily as the settings are being set.
Wait for about 60 seconds until the Status indicator and Wi-Fi Signal
Strength indicator lit up and you can connect to the PEN1201’s SSID.

This Quick Installation Guide is to setup PROLiNK PEN1201 for internet
connection. PROLiNK PEN1201 comes with multiple operation modes -
Repeater, Access Point and Router. In this Quick Installation Guide, we will
describe how to setup PROLiNK PEN1201 as Repeater mode.

Step 1: Hardware Setup
2. Plug in PEN1201 into electrical outlet.

Switch On the electrical outlet and wait about 30 seconds until Status indicator
lit up solid Green.
1. Set Operation Mode Switch to Repeater mode and Power Switch to ON.

There are two methods to setup Repeater mode for PEN1201 - physical WPS
Button or Web Configuration. If your existing router does not support for WPS
Button, you should use Method 2 to configure PEN1201.
To use WPS button option, ensure the router you intend to connect must also
have a WPS button.
Press the WPS button on your existing router.
Within 2 minutes, press and hold the PEN1201’s WPS button for 6 seconds.
The status indicator will begin slow blinking.
Pairing process takes approximately Two (2) minutes to complete and its
completion is indicated by both Status indicator and Wi-Fi Signal Strength
Indicator lit up.
Upon successful pairing, user can now connect to the PEN1201’s Wi-Fi
through its Default SSID (PROLiNK_XXXXXX) and password (prolink12345).
Step 2: Configuration
Method 1: With WPS Button
Notes:-
1) Both WPS button must be pressed within 2 minutes.
2) PEN1201’s SSID and password can be modified through Web Configuration after the
pairing process is complete.

Method 2: With Web Configuration
Click on the Repeater Wizard to begin Setup Wizard.

Launch a web browser and key in the URL http://pen1201.setup or
default IP Address http://192.168.123.253 onto the address bar.
Enter the Username and Password to login (default username/password is
admin/password).

Connect to PEN1201 through wired or wireless connection.

a) For wired connection: Connect the PC/Laptop over to the PEN1201’s LAN
Port.
b)
For wireless connection: Connect the Wi-Fi client over to the PEN1201’s
default SSID (PROLiNK_XXXXXX) with the default password (prolink12345).

Place the PEN1201 in between your router and your Wi-Fi dead zone.
Plug in PEN1201 into an electrical outlet and switch On. Wait until the Wi-Fi
Signal Strength indicator lights up, relocate PEN1201 closer to the router if
the Wi-Fi Signal Strength indicator lights up less than three bars.

Note:-
The Wi-Fi Signal Strength indicates the link quality once PEN1201 is connected to the
existing router or access point. It is recommended to achieve Three LED bars which
illustrate reliable connectivity between the PEN1201 and existing router or access point.
