Before First Use
Remove any packaging material and
promotional labels.
When unpacking the electric knife,
check to see you have received all
the required parts before discarding
the packaging.
Carefully remove the plastic sleeve
from the blades.
Wash the blades with warm soapy
water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
WARNING: Do not
immerse the motor
housing, cord or plug in
water or any other liquid.
WARNING: The blades are

Do not fit or remove the
blades whilst the electric
knife is connected to the
power outlet.
To Attach the Blades to the
Motor Body
1. Interlock the blades together
before inserting into the motor
body. To do this, holding the
blades by the safety guards,
align the rivet on the one blade
with the hole on the other blade,
then slide until the tips of the two
blades are even (See Fig. 1).
Fig. 1
NOTE: Always use both blades
when operating the Electric
Knife.
2. Hold the now interlocked blades
by the safety guards and slide
the blade shafts gently into the
blade slot on the motor body until
locked into position (See Fig. 2).
Fig. 2
WARNING: Only when
blades are fitted inside
the motor housing should
the power cord be
connected to the power
outlet.

Ensure the electric knife is completely
and properly assembled as detailed
on page 7, with blades correctly
fitted.

or 240V power outlet and turn the
power outlet on.
2. Holding the electric knife by the
handle, press and hold down the
'START' button using your thumb
to activate the motor. Now foods
such as meat or bread can be
sliced.
3. When slicing is complete, switch
off the motor by removing your
finger from the ‘START’ button,
then switch off at the power
outlet and remove the power
plug from the outlet.
WARNING: Avoid contact
with moving parts. Keep
hands, hair, clothing and
other utensils away from
moving blades during
operation to prevent
personal injury and/or
damage to the electric
knife.

Handy Tips
• Place food to be sliced on
a wooden or plastic cutting
board. Do not slice food on
china, metal or bench tops, as
scratching may occur.
• There is no need to apply force
or use a sawing action when
slicing food; simply guide blades
through the food in even slices.
• Do not slice through frozen food,
bones, fruit pips, stones or any
other hard substances as this
may damage the blades.
• Allow meat or poultry to rest for
10-15 minutes before slicing. This
allows the juices to set so carving
is easier and neater.
• Make sure to remove any
skewers before carving meat or
poultry. Any string tied around
meat however can be left on if
desired whilst carving.
• For added control while carving,
use a carving fork to keep the
meat steady.
• Never sharpen or attempt to
sharpen the blades.
