1. ABOUT THIS GUIDE
THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO MEET STRICT QUALITY AND
SAFETY STANDARDS. THERE ARE, HOWEVER, SOME OPERATIONAL PRECAUTIONS THAT
YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF.
1. The cutting blades are sharp, handle with care. Hold the electric knife using the finger grips
or blade shafts, both when handling the electric knife and cleaning.
2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
3. Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the
appliance under running water.
4. Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or a
proaching parts that move in use.
5. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could
pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts
and accessories.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Never let the motor unit, power cord or plug get wet.
8. Don’t let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or worktops or touch hot surfaces.
9. Misuse of your electric knife can result in injury.
10. Care is needed when handling the sharp cutting blades and during cleaning.
