Germanica GREKNIFE2 is an electric knife designed for carving meat and food. It features high-quality blades that do not require sharpening and a powerful motor that allows for effortless cutting. Reading and storing the user manual

This user manual is part of the electric knife (hereinafter also

called “device”). It contains important information on how to set up and

use the device.

Before using the device, read the operating manual carefully, in particular

the safety instructions. Failure to follow this operating manual may

lead to severe injuries or product damage.

This user manual is based on the standards and regulations that are valid

within Australia. Outside Australia, please also note the

country-speciﬁc directives and laws.

Keep this operating manual for future reference. If you pass this device

on to a third party, you must also supply this operating manual.

This device is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use. Use

the device only as described in this operating manual. Any other use is improper and

may lead to product damage or even personal injury. This device is not a toy.

THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO MEET STRICT QUALITY AND

SAFETY STANDARDS. THERE ARE, HOWEVER, SOME OPERATIONAL PRECAUTIONS THAT

YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF.

1. The cutting blades are sharp, handle with care. Hold the electric knife using the ﬁnger grips

or blade shafts, both when handling the electric knife and cleaning.

2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,

disassembling or cleaning.

3. Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the

appliance under running water.

4. Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or a

proaching parts that move in use.

5. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could

pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts

and accessories.

1. Always turn the power o at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug.

Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.

2.Turn the power o and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

3.Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and

tested by a qualiﬁed technician or service person.

Before ﬁrst use remove the blade cover and carefully wash the blades using a cloth

with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.

FITTING THE BLADE

1. Check to ensure that the electric knife is not plugged in.

2. Reassemble the blades if necessary.

To do this hold the blades using the ﬁnger

grips and place the slot at the end of the

right blade over the rivet one the left blade.

5. Insert the blade shaft into the slots of the

handle using the ﬁnger grips. Ensure

the cutting edge of the blades

are facing the same way as the

power switch.

3. Slide the rivet along so that both

ﬁnger grips are situated next to each other.

4. For safety carefully place the blade

cover back over the blades.

6. Push down until the blades click ﬁrmly into

place and blade release buttons pop out.

1. Always place the food to be carved

on a suitable cutting board so worktops

and tabletops are protected from damage.

2. Slot the plug into a power socket and

switch on.

4. When using the electric knife gently push the blade in the direction you wish to cut.

5. When slicing poultry cut almost to the bone and then separate meat from the bone manually.

Do not attempt to cut through bones

6. Do not use the knife for more than 5 minutes. Allow the knife to cool for 1 minute

before continuing

7. The blades are high quality and do not require sharpening.

8. Do not use to cut frozen food.

3. Hold the electric knife in position.

towards the base of the handle(2). the lock

button must be held otherwise the knife

will not work.

CARVING MEAT AND FOOD.

1. Check to ensure that the electric knife is not

plugged in.

2. Grip the blades ﬁrmly using the ﬁnger grips

and push in the blade release buttons, a click

will be heard and the blades will be released.

3. Slide the blades out of the handle.

5. HOW TO CLEAN AND STORE YOUR ELECTRIC KNIFE

Make sure your electric knife is disconnected from the power and is completely

cool.

1. Remove the blades from the handle as detailed elsewhere in there instructions.

2.Separate the blades by sliding the rivet on the left blade out of the slot in the right blade.

3. Carefully wash the blades using warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Rinse and

dry thoroughly.

4. Wipe the handle with a slightly damp cloth then dry thoroughly. Never immerse the handle

in any liquid. Dry thoroughly.

5. Place the blades together and slide into the blade cover supplied.

6. Place the electric knife and accessories inside the box in which it was supplied in a dry place

out of reach of children. Never wrap the power cord around the knife or over-stress the cord

where it attaches to the handle.
