This adapter complies with the express
card 34 standard. It expands your
notebook by two USB 3.0 ports so
that you can connect USB 3.0 devices
like printer, scanner, MP3 player, card
reader, external enclosure etc. to the
adapter. Since the USB-A interface is
compatible to its forerunners USB 2.0
and USB 1.1, you can still use of your
existing USB devices.
