PrintHeadMaintenanceandTroubleshooting

Twoalcoholwipes(FigureA)areincludedwithyourprinter/printhead.Theyshouldbe

usedtoperformthefollowingprocedures: 

• Cleanthecoppercontacts(Area1&2)atthefollowingtimes:

1. Betweenprintheadchanges.

2. Anytimeyouremovetheprinthead.

3. Ifyouexperienceany

qualityproblems.

• Cleaninkbuild‐upfromthebottomoftheprinthead(Area4).

Followingtheseguidelineswillpreventprintheadre cognitionproblemsandclogging.

• DoNOTtouchorcleantheprintnozzles(Area3).

• DoNOTtouchthecoppercontacts(Area1&2)or

thenozzleswithyourfingers.

• DoNOTprintwiththecoveropen.

• DoNOTswitchofforunplugtheprinterbetweenuses.

• DoNOTstoreausedprintheadoutsideoftheprinter.

• Storetheprinthead intheprinterwiththecartridgesinstalledatall

times.


