SAFETY WARNINGS
x To prevent short circuits, this product should only be used
inside and only in dry spaces. Do not expose the
components to rain or moisture. Do not use the product
close to a bath, swimming pool etc.

INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek
BoomBoom 75. This Bluetooth audio receiver allows you to
play music from a sound source that is equipped with
Bluetooth technology on your sound installation without
having to connect the source using cables. This could involve a
PC or a laptop that has a Bluetooth USB dongle, a mobile
telephone that supports Bluetooth, an Android telephone, an
Android Tablet, an iPhone an iPad or a Mac.
You can then organise your music via the sound source
without having to walk over to the sound system.
The BoomBoom 75 has a range of about 10 metres, allowing
you to organise your music in the same or in an adjoining
room.

receiver
1 x mini USB cable
1 x USB power adapter
1 x Mini Jack female to RCA converter cable
1 x set of instructions in English, German, French, Spanish,
Italian, Dutch.

FIRST USE
The BoomBoom 75 has a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend completely charging the battery before using
for the first time. Connect the supplied USB cable to the
BoomBoom 75 and the power adapter. The red LED will light
up when you plug the power adapter into the wall socket.
The first charge may take up to about two hours. Once the
BoomBoom 75 battery is completely charged, the red LED will
go off.
CONNECTING TO YOUR SOUND SYSTEM
Connect the mini jack-plug to the AUX IN on a docking
speaker or radio/CD player, for example.
Use the converter cable supplied to connect the BoomBoom 75
to the AUX IN coaxial (Cinch/RCA) connection on your sound
system.
CONNECTING
1. Locate your Bluetooth music source in the vicinity of the
BoomBoom 75. The best distance is around 1 metre.
2. Ensure that the BoomBoom 75 is off.
3. Press the button on the BoomBoom 75 until the LED
starts to blink red and blue.
4. Switch your device’s Bluetooth function on according to
the instructions of your device and go to Bluetooth
settings.
5. Scan for new devices and select the name
“BoomBoom75”.

6. If the Bluetooth connection process requires a password,
enter “0000”. The BoomBoom 75 then connects with your
device by briefly lighting up the red LED. You will also
hear a signal via the connected sound system. The
connection has now been made and your device is linked
to the BoomBoom 75. You can now play and control the
music in your device on your sound system.
! You can link to up to 8 devices however only 1 device can be
connected to the BoomBoom 75 at one time.
TURNING OFF
Depress the BoomBoom 75’s button for 4 seconds. The red LED
will blink for 3 seconds and then go out.
TURNING ON
Depress the BoomBoom 75’s button for 4 seconds. The blue
LED will blink 3 times.
The BoomBoom 75 will then automatically link to the last
device it was connected to. Only 1 device can be connected at
once with the BoomBoom 75. If your device does not connect
automatically, go to the device's Bluetooth settings and select
the BoomBoom 75. A connection will then be made.
STANDBY/AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
If the BoomBoom 75 is in connecting mode and no connection
is made within 3 minutes, the BoomBoom 75 will switch to
standby setting (blue LED blinks). If no connection is made for
10 minutes, the BoomBoom 75 will automatically switch off. If
you wish to use the BoomBoom 75, you must switch it on
again.

BATTERY LIFE AND STANDBY TIME
Once the battery has been fully charged it will last for about 6
hours. Standby time is around 140 hours. You can use the
BoomBoom 75 with the mains adapter supplied. The battery
then remains charged.
BATTERY ALMOST EMPTY
When the BoomBoom 75’s battery is almost empty, the red
LED will blink once every 30 seconds and you will hear a
warning signal 4 times via the sound system. Follow the steps
given earlier to charge the battery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I can’t connect my BoomBoom 75.
Check the following:
1. Ensure that the power adapter is connected and/or that
the battery is fully charged.
2. Ensure that the Bluetooth function on your mobile
telephone is on (check your phone's manual for
reference).
3. Ensure that the distance between your mobile phone and
the BoomBoom 75 is no greater than 10 metres and that
there are no large obstacles in the way.
No sound comes out of the audio installation
Ensure that the audio cable is correctly connected (AUX IN),
that the correct input has been selected on your audio
installation and that your audio system’s volume is set to the
desired level.
Can I link numerous devices to my BoomBoom 75?
You can link up to 8 devices to your BoomBoom 75. If the
BoomBoom 75 is switched on, it will automatically connect to
the last connected device.
