Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
1. TEAC warrants that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal domestic use with reasonable care and skill.
Maintenance and cleaning (i.e. laser head) is not covered by this warranty. The TEAC warranty only applies to TEAC products purchased
NEW from a TEAC Authorised Retailer in Australia. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
2. The benefits to the consumer given by this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to
goods or services to which the warranty relates, being the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Refund or replacement via your TEAC Authorised Retailer is available for a period of 14 days after purchase for goods that have been
inspected and determined to have a major failure. Refund and exchange is not applicable for change of mind.
4. Subject to the terms herein, this warranty effectively covers TEAC products, excluding products purchased for commercial purposes, as
specified in the Warranty Periods Table below from the date of purchase.

**In Home Service/Pick up Service
This service will only be provided as part of this warranty if all the following conditions are met;
a) The product is indicated in the Warranty Period Table.
b) The product is within the warranty period.
c) The product is located within the normal service area of the local TEAC Authorised Service Centre.
Proof of product purchase is required. If TEAC determines that the product is not repairable on site, TEAC can complete the repair by taking
the product to a TEAC Authorised Service Centre.
6. A 12-month replacement warranty is applicable to all Accessories such as Remotes, Power Adapters and Cables.
7. TEAC will ensure to the best of its abilities that all required parts are made available for any required service/repair.
8. TEAC Australia Pty Ltd and its Authorised Service Centres will use their best endeavours to complete product repairs within a reasonable
period based on available resources and workload during the time when service is requested and performed.
9. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product. In the case of a replacement, the product may be replaced, with a refurbished unit of the
same type or, if one is unavailable, a similar refurbished model with equal or better features and specifications.
10. Please be advised that if the product presented for repair is capable of retaining user-generated data, the data may be lost during servicing.
Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all important information/data before sending the product in for service/repair.
11. Service will be provided only during normal business hours and under safety conditions and circumstances. TEAC and its authorised service
agents can refuse any repair if safety, in relation to OH&S, becomes a concern to its staff or authorised service agents’ personnel.
12. The warranty is void and warranty claims may be refused, subject to the Australian Consumer Law, if:
a) The product was not transported, installed, operated or maintained according to manufacturer instruction, or
b) The product was abused, damaged, tampered, altered or repaired by any unauthorised persons, or
c) Product failure is due to accidents during use, installation or transit, power surges, use of defective or incompatible external devices, exposure
to abnormal conditions such as excessive temperatures or humidity, or entry of liquids, objects or creatures into the product, cockroach
infestations, or
d) The customer is unable to provide proof of purchase of the product for verification, or
e) The serial number of the product is missing or has been tampered with.
13. Where any repairs or services required that are outside of the terms and conditions of this Warranty are requested by the customer, or where
a fault is determined to be outside of the terms and conditions of the Warranty, the customer shall be charged for the cost of the repair.
14. No one is authorised to assume any liability on behalf of TEAC or impose any obligation on it, in connection with the sale of any equipment
other than as stated in this warranty and outlined above.
15. TEAC and/or its Authorised Service Centres reserve the right to inspect and verify whether the product is exhibiting a major failure as claimed
by customers/retailers.

Read Instructions - All the safety and operating
instructions should be read before the product is
operated.
Retain Instructions - The safety and operating
instructions should be retained for future reference.
Heed Warnings - All warnings on the product and in the
operating instructions should be adhered to.
Follow Instructions - All operating and use instructions
should be followed.
Cleaning - Unplug the product from the wall outlet
before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaner or aerosol
cleaners. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
Attachments - Only use attachments/accessories
specified by the manufacturer.
Water and Moisture - Do not use the product near
water, for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen
sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a
swimming pool, etc.
Accessories - Do not place the product on an unstable
cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may
fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and
serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart,
stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the
manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of
the product should follow the manufacturer's
instructions and should use a mounting accessory
recommended by the manufacturer. The product and
cart combination should be moved with care. Quick
stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may
cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
Ventilation-Slots and openings in the cabinet are
provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable
operation of the product and to protect it from
overheating, and these openings must not be
blocked or covered. The openings should never be
blocked by placing the product on a bed,sofa,
rug,or other similar surface. The product should not
be placed in built-in installation such as a bookcase
or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the
manufacturer's instruction have been adhered to.
Power Sources - The product should be operated
only from the type of power source indicated on the
marking label. If you are not sure of the type of
power supply to your home, consult your appliance
dealer or local power company.
Power Cord Protection-Power cords should be
routed so that they are not likely to be walked on
or pinched by items placed upon or against them,
paying particular attention to cords at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they
exit from the appliance.
Lightning-For added protection for the product
during a lightning storm,or when it is left
unattended and unused for long periods of
time,unplug it from the the wall outlet and
disconnect the antenna or cable system.This will
prevent damage to the product due to lightning and
power-line surges.
Power Lines-An outside antenna system should not
be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or
other electric light or power circuits,or where it can
fall into such power lines or circuits.When installing
an outside antenna system, extreme care should be
taken to keep from touching such power lines or
circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
Overloading-Do not overload wall outlets and
extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire
or electric shock.
Object and Liquid Entry-Never push objects of any
kind into the product through any openings as they
may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out
parts that can result in a fire or electric shock.
Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
Servicing-Do not attempt to service the product
yourself as opening or removing covers may expose
you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer
all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Repairing-Unplug the product from the wall outlet and
refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the
following conditions:
a. When the power cord or plug is damaged.
b. If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into
the product.
c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
d. If the product does not operate normally by
following the operating instructions. Adjust only

Replacement Parts-When replacement parts are

Safety Check-Upon completion of any service or
repairs to the product,ask the service technician to
perform safety checks to determine that the product
is in proper operating condition.
Heat-Do not install the product near any heat
sources such as radiators,heat registers,stoves,or
other products(including amplifiers)that produce
heat.
Installation Location-Place the product on a firm
and flat surface.Avoid placing the product in areas
of direct sunlight,heating radiators,closed
a u t o m o b i l e s , h i g h t e m p e r a t u r e , h i g h
humidity,excessive dust,strong vibration,impact or
strong magnetic fields,as the internal parts may be
seriously damaged.
Hazards of Electrical Shock and Fire-Do not touch
the power cord with wet hands.Hold the plug when
disconnecting the power cord.Do not pull the
power cord.Unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet when the product is not used for long
periods of time.
Hearing Safety-Listen at a moderate volume.Using
headphone at high volume can impair your hearing.
Where the Mains plug is used as the disconnect
device,the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
The batteries (battery pack of batteries
installed)shall not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine, fire or the like.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashing and that no objects filled with
liquids,such as vases, shall be placed on the
apparatus.
■Sometimes, the LED screen may have some tiny
red, blue, white or black spots. This is normal and
does not affect the performance.

Preparation
The TV base will be separated with the TV unit. You should install the base before you use the TV unit.
1.Place the TV with its front side facing down on a cushioned flat surface.

3.Tighten the supplied 4X20 screws to fix the TV stand securely in place.(6 Screws: Provided with TV unit)

Wall mounting assembly instruction
Attaching the stand
Follow the instructions below to remove the base of the TV:
1.Place the unit (face down) on a soft surface.
2.Loosen and remove the 6 screws securing the stand to the TV.
3.Gently remove the stand.
4.To reinstall the stand, place the unit (face down) on a soft surface and reverse the above instructions.
NOTE: Make sure the power is completely disconnected and unplugged before starting. when handling the TV, never press
or pinch on the fragile screen.
Wall-mounting the device
If you are mounting the device, please consult a qualified installer for further instructions on bracket support and
wall support.
Mounting Specification: 200mm×200mm using screw size M6 (not supplied). Length of screw should not
exceed 10mm.
Please Note: The 10mm length of screw refers to how deep the screw can go inside the mounting holes.
When you're buying screws, you should add the original 10mm to the thickness of your mounting plate in
order to get the total screw length.

Place the TV on a firm and flat surface, leaving a space of at least 10cm around the set and 30cm
from the top of the set to the wall.

Antenna and Power Connections
WARNING: We recommend that you also fix the body of the TV in place with furniture straps, to avoid the TV
getting tipped over by children and pets. This can prevent major damage and injury.

Connect the antenna cable into the antenna input terminal at the rear panel and wall antenna socket.

■If the external equipment has DVI output, you can connect it to the HDMI terminal using a HDMI-DVI cable.
In case of using the HDMI-DVI cable, connect analog audio signal to RGB/HDMI Analog Audio Input terminal.

Installing The Remote Control Batteries
Using the programme selection buttons on the remote control to change programmes
To select a programme, press the corresponding programme selection button on the remote control. For example, to select
programme 8, press the "8" number button on the remote control.
Using the CH+/- buttons to sequentially change programmes
Press the CH+/- buttons on the remote control or on the TV to browse through the TV programmes available in your area.
Using the button to return to the previous programme
To return to the previous viewed programme, press the button on the remote control.
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert batteries (two size-AAA batteries).
Place batteries with their terminals observing the (+) and (-)
indications.
3. Replace the cover and press down until the lock snaps
closed. If the remote control is not used for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries from the remote control
as damage may result due to electrolyte leakage from the
batteries.
Note: 1.The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
2. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
3. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of batteries according to the instructions.
4. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, danger of explosion.
Power On/Off
Turning on the TV
1. Plug the TV's power cord into a wall outlet (after this step, the main unit will turn on and enter standby mode
automatically).
2. Press the (Power) button on the TV, or press the (Power) button on the remote control. The TV will turn on.
Placing In Standby Mode
Your TV can be placed in Standby mode in order to reduce the power consumption. The standby mode can be useful
when you wish to interrupt viewing temporarily (during a meal, for example).
1. Press the Power button.
2. To switch back on, simply press the power button again.
Remark: Do not leave your TV in standby mode for long periods of time. (when you are away on holiday, for example).
It is best to unplug the set from the mains and aerial.

Playback Control Buttons (for media mode)
1.Open the cover.
2.AAA size batteries, When inserting the batteries, make sure correct polarities as
per "+" and "-" marks on the batteries and within the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover.
To prevent battery leakage which may result in bodily injury or damage to
the remote:
1. Install all batteries correctly, and as marked on the remote control.
2. Do not mix batteries: ( OLD and NEW or CARBON and ALKALINE, etc)
Remove batteries when the remote is not used for a long time.
Select Input Source
Press the INPUT button to display the input source list.
Press the ▼/▲ or OK button to select the input source
you want.
Press the OK button to enter the input source, then
press the EXIT button to quit.

First Time Installation
Connect an RF cable from the TV's input called "RF-In"
to your TV Aerial socket.
Select Language
Press the ◄/► button to select the language to be used
for menus and messages.
Select Country
Press the ▼/▲ buttons to highlight "country".
Press the ◄/► buttons to select the country.
Then, press the OK button to proceed to the next screen
to set up TV tuning.
Auto Tuning: Press the ▼/▲ buttons to highlight items
and the ◄/► buttons to adjust the options. When you
are happy with the settings, press OK to start the tuning
process.

First Time Installation
While Auto Tuning is in progress, the screen displays the progress bar.
If you need to stop tuning, press the EXIT button.
Basic Operation
To turn on the TV
1.Connect the power play into the wall outlet.
The power indicator lights in red, indicating that the TV
is in standby mode.
2. Press
The power indicator lights turns off and the TV turns on.
To turn off the TV
Press
The power indicator lights in red and the TV turns off to
standby mode.
●It takes approximately 10 seconds for the picture to appear
after the TV is turned on.
●The TV will switch to standby mode automatically if there is
no signal input for 10 minutes.
●If the TV will not be used for a long periods of time, unplug the
TV from the wall outlet.
Channel Selection
To select a channel
Press CH+/- or Program Select buttons to select the
channel number directly.
Input Source Selection
To select input source
1. Press the INPUT button.
2. Press ▼/▲ to select the desired input source, then
pres the OK button to confirm. The TV will switch to the
selected input source.
Power On/Off
1.Press VOL+ to increase the sound volume.
2.Press VOL- to decrease the sound volume.
To mute the sound
1.Press to temporarily turn off the sound.
2.Press or VOL+ to restore the sound to previous level.
You can decrease the sound volume by pressing VOL-
while the sound is muted.
On-Screen Display (OSD) Selection and
Adjustment
1. Press "MENU" to display the main menu.
2. Press ◄/► to select a menu. The selected menu
page displays.
3. Press ▼/▲ to set your selection.
4. Press ▼/▲ to choose an item on the menu page and
press ► or OK to confirm.
5. Press ◄/► to adjust an item value or choose options.
6. Press "MENU" to return to the menu, To exit the
on-screen menu completely, press EXIT.
The OSD menu screen will be closed automatically when no
operation has been made for the set OSD menu display time.

Press▼/▲ button to select Auto Tuning, then press the
OK button to enter.

Program Edit
Press▼/▲ to select Program Edit, then press OK
to enter the sub-menu.
The three colored keys are shortcut keys for
programming channels.
First press ▼ /▲ to highlight the channel you want to
select, then:
Press the Red button to delete the selected channel in
the list.
Press the Yellow button to move the channel in the
channel list.
Press the Blue button to skip the selected channel (Skip
applies to channel browsing by CH+/- only)
Press the Fav button to add or remove the channel to or
film your favorite list.
The Favourite channels list can be accessed with the
FAV button when in DTV mode.
Schedule List
Press ▼/▲ to select Schedule List, then press OK to
enter the sub-menu.
Follow the on-screen hints to Add/Delete/Edit/Move
items in this list. There are two types of scheduled
items:
1. Scheduled Recording
Records the program according to the settings.
NOTE: A compatible data storage device (flash
drive/Hard disk drive) must be connected.
2.Reminder
Switches to the desired channel at the set time. NOTE:
If the scheduled item is due when the TV is on standby,
the TV power on auto matically.
Signal Information
Press▼/▲ to select signal Information, then press the
OK button to see detailed information about the signal.
Only available when there is signal in DTV.

Picture Menu
Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
Press the ◄/► button to select PICTURE in the main menu.
1.Press the ▼/▲ buttons to select the desired option in
the PICTURE menu.
2.Press the OK button to adjust.
3.After finishing your adjustment, press the MENU
button to save and return back to the previous menu.
Picture Mode

enter the sub-menu.
You can change the value of contrast, brightness,
color,sharpness and tint when the picture is in Personal
mode.
Contrast/Brightness/Color/Tint/Sharpness
Press▼/▲ to select a desired option, then press ◄/►
to adjust.
Contrast: Adjust the highlight intensity of the picture.
Brightness: Adjust the optical fiber output of the entire
picture, it will effect the dark region of the picture.
Color: Adjust the saturation of the color.
Tint :Use in compensating color changed with the
transmission in the NTSC code.
Sharpness: Adjust the peaking in the detail of the
picture.
NOTE: Switch personal picture mode before adjusting
the Contrast, Brightness, etc.
Color Temp
Change the overall color cast of the picture.
Press ▼/▲ to select Color Temperature, then press OK
to enter the sub-menu.
Press ◄/► to select (Available Picture modes Cold,
Normal, Warm).
Noise Reduction
To filter out and reduce the image noise, and improve
picture quality.
Press ▼/▲ to select Noise Reduction, then press OK
to enter the sub-menu.
Off : Select to turn off video noise detection
Low : Detect and reduce low video noise.
Middle : Detect and reduce moderate video noise.
High : Detect and reduce enhanced video noise.
Default : Set as Default.
HDMI Mode
Press ▼/▲ button to select HDMI Mode, then press
OK button to confirm.
Backlight
Adjust the backlight for energy saving.

Menu Operation
Sound Menu
Press MENU to display the main menu.
Press ◄/► to select SOUND in the main menu.
Movie : Enhances treble and bass for a rich sound
experience.
Sports : Enhances vocals for sports commentary.
Music : Preserves the original sound. Good for musical
programs.
Standard : Produces a balanced sound in all environments.
Personal : Select to customize picture settings.
Note: The treble and bass adjustments are only available
in personal mode.
Balance
Adjust the speaker's Left/Right output, Press ▼/▲ to
select this option, then press ◄/► to adjust.
1. Press ▼/▲ button to select the desired option in the
SOUND menu.
2. Press OK to adjust.
3. After finishing your adjustment, press the OK button
to save and return to the previous menu.
Sound Mode
Press ▼/▲ to select Sound Mode, then press OK to
enter sub-menu.
Press ◄/► button to select.
Auto Volume Level
This feature reduces the volume rage, If you find yourself
adjusting the volume frequently (eg. between programs
and commercials or during movies ), this function may
be useful.
Press▼/▲ to select Auto Volume Level, then press ◄/►
to select Off/PCM Auto.
AD Switch
Press ▼/▲ to select AD Switch, then press ◄/► to
select On or OFF.
Some programs may provide a descriptive track to assist
viewers with visual impairments. You can also adjust the
volume for this track when AD is set to On.
Time Menu
Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
Press the ◄/► buttons to select TIME in the main menu.
1.Press ▼/▲ to select the desired option in the TIME
menu.
2.Press the OK button to adjust.
3.After finishing your adjustment, press the OK button to
save and return to the previous menu.
Clock
Displays the time, The time is received automatically
from the digital TV.
Time Zone
Press▼/▲ button to select Time Zone, then press the
OK button to enter the sub-menu.
