GENERAL SAFETY
Read this manual thoroughly before you start using the Set Top Box.
Store this manual, the completed warranty card, your receipt and the product packaging.
The safety precautions instructions reduces the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when
correctly complied to.
Please follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings.
The lightning flash with symbol within the
triangle is intended to warn you of a
non-insulated dangerous voltage in the
product’s enclosure that could be of
sucient magnitude to generate a risk of
electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within the triangle
is intended to warn you to the presence
of important operating and maintenance
instructions in the documents included with
the product.
The cover (or back) of the unit should
not be removed to prevent risk of electric
shock.
This unit must be serviced by a qualified
service personnel only.

and the product to a stable support.
• Do not place the product on cloth or other conductive materials.
• Warn children of the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television
or its controls and to call for an adult to assist.

This product must be positioned in a suciently stable location, it can be
potentially hazardous due to falling when mounted and can cause injury, particularly
to children if it positioned incorrectly.
• Do not use a damaged power cord, plug or loose outlet. Doing so may cause an
electric shock.
• Do not plug several devices into the same outlet. Doing so may cause the outlet to
overheat and start a fire. Make sure the outlet is readily accessible during operation
of the equipment.
• Do not bend, twist or kink the power cord excessively.
• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
• Do not run the power cord near heat-producing appliances such as radiators, stoves or
irons. The excessive heat could melt the insulation and expose live wires, resulting in
fire or electric shock.
• No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
• Do not allow anything to rest on or roll over the power cord. Doing so may cause fire
or electric shock.
• Do not run the power cord near heat-producing appliances such as radiators, stoves
or irons. The excessive heat could melt the insulation and expose live wires, resulting in
fire or electric shock.
• Unplug ths product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Not doing so may result in fire or electric shock.
• Do not cover the ventilation openings of the product with items such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains etc or insert objects into the slots available on the products.
As this could result in the product temperature rising and could cause a fire.
• Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture as it may result in fire or an
electric shock hazard
• Do not temper or change or modify the product in any way.
• Only use Accessories outlined and recommended by the manufacturer.
• Please do not expose the product to splashing or water contact
• Please do not place any object on top of the product including objects filled with liquids
such as vases.
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly placed. Replace with same or equivalent type.

Please make sure upon positioning this product, the place is:
Not wet or damp and Well ventilated
Away from direct sunlight or heaters.
Away from splashes or food.
Protected from excessive dust or grease.
Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit.
Do not install the TV set near heat sources such as radiators, stoves or other audio
visual equipment that produce heat.
Do not place containers with liquids, if liquid falls inside the products it may result in
short-circuit, fire or electric shock.
Do not place small metallic objects on top of the unit. Metal object falls inside the
product it may result in short-circuit, fire or electric shock.
Do not use or store flammable or combustible materials near the unit. Doing so may
result in fire or explosion. Do not place any naked flame sources, such as lit candles,
cigarettes or incense sticks on top of the TV set.
The antenna must be installed away from high-voltage power line,
Please contact an antenna professional installer to install the antenna to avoid
incorrect installation which could result in fire, electric shock or serious injury.
Install the unit at a reasonable distance from the wall to ensure sucient ventilation.
If mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect
device shall remain readily operable.

First Time Setup
Initial install
1. Select desired language (default English)
2. Country: Australia.
3. Default: On
4. Select Next.
5. TV will commence Tuning

EPG (Electronic Program Guide) / Recording
EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is used to view all channel programs
and times. Set reminders, schedule or commence recording a TV
Program immediately.
NOTE: To allow recording/PVR functions to work, you must have a USB DRIVE inserted
into the front of the Set Top Box. (Must be FAT32 Format in order to work)
Follow the EPG Screen prompts at the bottom of EPG screen
for instructions. When you press RIGHT direction key on remote control,
you can:
1. Press UP and DOWN directions on RC to view programs
for the day.
2. RED or button on RC to start current program recoding.
Red (R) will appear when recording current program.
3. RED or button on RC while on upcoming program to schedule
a program to be recorded.
Green (R) will appear when successfully scheduled a recording.
4. Yellow button for PREVIOUS DAY,
Blue button for NEXT DAY.

Schedule List
Record List
Press TIMER on the Remote control to display SCHEDULE LIST.
Once you have set a “Scheduled Recording” from the EPG menu, you
can then view all your upcoming recordings via the SCHEDULE LIST.
Manage all your upcoming recordings, delete edit or delete.
To access the recorded list, press USB button on the remote control to
bring up the device list, press OK to select the folder and the below will
display your completed recordings so far.

Manage Recorded Programs
To manage your recorded programs please follow the below
instructions:
1. Press menu on RC
2. Go to media centre and select Multimedia
3. In media manager, the top menu bar go to and select
“Record Manager.
4. Select the USB Drive
5. When you hover over the recording file, menu options will show
a. Red button to delete recording
b. Green button to rename
c. Blue button to delete all

MENU - Installation
Press MENU on your remote control to access the above settings.
Access this MENU if you want to search for a missing Program or manual
search to find a channel.
1. Navigate using LEFT or RIGHT direction keys on your remote
control,
2. Press OK or UP direction key to enter the desired MENU.
3. Press EXIT key to go back to previous MENU option.

MENU - Preference
OSD Language - Langauge text of the Set Top Box.
OSD Timeout - Timing of a menu (volume) will appear for when used.
OSD Transparency - Lighten the menu, higher the % more you can see
through the menu displayed.
1st and 2nd Subtitle - Set extra langauge subtitles set as default which
can be accessed while watching TV.
Hard Hearing - Used to set special subtitle hearing for impaired users.
(depends on broadcast operator if its supported).

MENU - Setting
Timers - Countdown timer.
Child Lock - Lock the Set Top Box with a password to prevent use.
NOTE: please write down the password and put in safe place.
Date Time - Set the date and time of your Set Top Box, be sure to set
correctly to it works alongside PVR and EPG viewing.
Factory Reset - Reset the set top box, Only use this function if advised
by customer support. Reset will cause you to loose all saved settings.
Upgrade - This option is only for software upgrades if provided by
customer service.
Auto Standby - automatically turns o set top box as to selected time.

MENU - AV (Picture)
Aspect Ratio - To select the aspect ratio of the Set Top Box
(Full Screen or 16 : 9 recommended).
Video Output - Select the video cable output connected from the set top
box to the TV.
Video Resolution - Select the Video resolution output to match that of
your tv (up to 1080p).

MENU - Media Centre
Multimedia - Select this to access videos, photos or audio files through
USB drive inserted into the Set Top Box.
PVR Config - Adjust the settings of your PVR recording options.
