Important Safety Instructions
Read all of the instructions before operating the set. Keep these instructions in a safe place for further use.
• If a television is not positioned in a suciently stable location, it can be potentially hazardous due to
falling. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
•Usingcabinetsorstandsrecommendedbythemanufacturerofthetelevision.
•Onlyusingfurniturethatcansafelysupportthetelevision.
•Ensuringthetelevisionisnotoverhangingtheedgeofthesupportingfurniture.
•Notstandingthetelevisionsonclothorothermaterialsplacedbetweenthetelevisionand
supporting furniture.
•Educatingchildrenaboutthedangersofclimbingonfurnituretoreachthetelevisionoritscontrols.

• Unplug the set when it is not used for a long period of time.
• Do not dismantle this product by yourself as this may cause damage.
• Do not touch the screen surface with ngers as this may scratch or mark the LCD screen.
• Do not impact the LCD screen with hard pressure as this may damage the LCD screen severely.
• Thebattery(batteryorbatteriesorbatterypack)shallnotbeexposedtoexcessiveheatsuchasdirect
sun, re or the like.
• Please use the core plug as required.
• Unplug the set under the following conditions:
•Ifthesetwillnotbeusedforalongperiodoftime.
•Ifthepowercordorthepoweroutlet/plugisdamaged.
•Ifthesetissubjecttoimpact,hasbeendroppedorisnotworking.
• The mains plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.
• Follow the instructions to install and adjust the product. Adjust those controls that are covered in these
operating instructions as improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage. If this happens,
unplug the set and refer to the service personnel.
• Do not allow anything to rest on or roll over the power cord & signal cable.
• Protect the power cord & signal cable from being trampled or tripped on.
• Do not overload the power cord or power outlet.

• Do not install this equipment in a conned space such as a book case or similar unit. To prevent injury,
this apparatus must be securely attached to the wall mount fastened on the wall.
• Place the set on a place that allows good ventilation.

• Keep away from direct sunlight.

Antenna/Cable Connection
There are two kinds of antenna in use.
NOTE:
1. CurrentoutdoorantennaorcableTVusuallyuse75OHMcoaxialantennacable.Forbetter
reception we suggest using this kind of antenna cable.
2. Flat cable or indoor antenna are an old design, the reception may not be good enough (not
recommended).
QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
1. After you have connected your TV to the antenna as per above, turn on your TV
via the Remote control.
2. Please select the SOURCE button to ensure you are in the DTV mode.
3. Press the MENU button and select TV.
4. Then select the AUTO TUNE function and press OK.
5. Now select DTV + ATV and press OK.
6. The TV will now tune to all your local channels. At the end of tuning the TV will revert to the rst
logical channel.

For using the remote control, follow these instructions:
1. Open the back cover of the remote control, then insert two AAA batteries with polarities
matching with the marks inside the battery compartment. Then, close the back cover.
2. Point the remote control towards the infra-red remote sensor on the main unit.
If there is an obstacle between the main unit and remote control, the remote control may not
operate properly.
3. Replace the batteries immediately once the remote control is found not to work properly.
4. Donotmixnewbatterieswitholdones,orbatteriesofdierentbrands.
5. Whenthebatteryisexhausted,electrolyte-leakingmayoccuranddamagetheremotecontrol.
When the operation is not activated, the batteries may be weak, so please replace the batteries.
6. If the remote control is not to be used for a long period of time, please remove the batteries to
avoid electrolyte leaking.

Press INPUT button to display the input source list;
Press the / button to select the input source you want to watch;
Press the ENTER button to enter the selected input source.

Press the MUTE button on the remote control, this icon will display on the top-left corner of
the menu. No signal, this

select fav and press ENTER button to conrm, press ENTER button again will set it to a normal
channel.
Lock
Press / button to select what you want to lock as a channel, then press button to select lock
and press ENTER button to conrm, press ENTER button again to cancel channel lock.
Skip
Press / button to select what channel you want to skip, then press button to select skip and
press ENTER button to conrm, press ENTER button again to cancel skip channel.
Auto Search

Time Menu

Time

NOTE: Only when you set the Time Mode -- Manual -- you can set the Current Time .
WakeUp Time
Press / button to select WakeUp Time, then press ENTER button to enter. Use the same method
as Current Time to set the date and time.
Others Menu
Press MENU button on the front of panel or MENU on the remote control to display the main menu.
Press / button to select Others in the main menu, then press ENTER button or button to enter.
1. Press / button to select the entry that you want to adjust.
2. Press ENTER button to enter and press / / / button to edit.
3. After nishing your adjustment, press MENU or EXIT button to save and return back to the
previous menu.
Personnel Video Recording (PVR)
1 Please insert the Media/USB drive into the Media/USB slot before selecting record mode.
2 Select the TV program and channel you wish to record.
3 Press the REC button twice and input the length of time you wish to record. Press the OK button
and the unit will start recording.
4 If you wish to stop the recording, press the STOP button and then press OK button and the
recording will cease.
5 If you wish to turn the TV OFF during the record mode, press the POWER button on the remote control
and the screen will become black. Once the recording is complete the TV will turn to standby and
power down. During the record time, the LED is BLUE and when it powers down the LED is RED.
NOTE: (A) During the record mode, you cannot change channels or select another function.
(B) If the signal is interrupted or removed while in record, the recording will stop until the
signal is established. This may cause you to lose program content.
6 While in the EPG mode, you can select a scheduled program to start at the program EPG menu time
from the channel list by pressing the BLUE (reminder) button. A symbol of a clock will appear to the
right hand side of the selected program that you wish to record.
NOTE: A OSD message will inform you of the recording of the selected program 30 seconds prior to
the EPG menu scheduled time.

Press ENTER button to select FAT32, EXT3 or EXT2. After the designation, press / button to
selectOKbutton,willdemonstratethefollowingdialogbox.Press / button to select Yes, then
press ENTER button to format the device, otherwise cancels the formatting. For more information
please refer to Media/USB details.
Screen Mode
Press / / / button to select Screen Mode, then press ENTER button to enter and press /
button to select auto, 16:9 Wide, 16:9 Zoom,16:9 Subtitle, 4:3.
Parental Control
Press / / / button to select Parental Control,
then press ENTER button to enter. Input password to
enter, default password is **8888**.
Parental Lock
Press / / / button to select Parental Lock, then
press ENTER button to enter and press / button to
select O or On. When parental lock is at the **o**
state, does not need to input the password to enter
the parental control menu directly.
Parental Rating
Press / / / button to select Parental Rating, then press ENTER button to enter and press
/ button to select between 3 and 18.
Change PIN
Press / / / button to select Change PIN, then press ENTER button to enter. After inputting
theoldpassword,anewblankpassworddialogueboxwillappear.
Input your new password. After inputting the new password, the screen will show the conrmation
passworddialogbox.Inputyournewpasswordagain.Afterinputtingtheconrmpassword,the
screen will show **Password Changed!**
Blue Screen
Press / / / button to select Blue Screen, then press ENTER button to enter and press /
button to select O or On.
