Insert an 8128GB class 10 MicroSD card (not supplied) into the MicroSD card slot.
Installing
1. Peel the backing off the electrostatic sticker and stick it onto the location you wish to
install the dash camera. It is recommended that the dash camera be located near
the centre of the front windshield.
2. Peel the adhesive sticker from the base of the dash camera, then stick the mount
onto the dash camera.
3. Attach the mount onto the electrostatic sticker on the front windshield.
4. Connect the Mini USB end of the power cord into the power port of the dash camera,
then connect the other end into the dual USB car charger.
Plug the dual USB car charger into the vehicle’s 12V socket to charge.
SETUP AND INSTALL
This dash camera uses the Roadcam app to take photos and view recorded footage.
1. Scan the QR code below on your mobile device and follow the prompts to download
the Roadcam app.
2. Press and hold the power/OK button to turn on the dash camera.
3. Turn on the Wi-Fi on your mobile device, then enter the Wi-Fi settings. Search for the
‘AP_WIFI’ network and tap to connect (password: 12345678).
This Wi-Fi network does not have internet access. If your mobile device prompts a
warning regarding no internet access on the Wi-Fi network, tap ‘Connect’. If this is
not tapped, you will be unable to access the Roadcam app.
Note:
Do not change the Wi-Fi password.
APP INSTALLATION
4. Ensure the Wi-Fi network connected, then open the Roadcam app. This will open to
the home screen and the W-Fi network should be displayed. Tap the orange icon to
open the main interface.
Powering
Press and hold the power/OK button to turn the dash camera on/off. When connected to
the Roadcam app, the dash cam will be continually recording footage.
App main interface
Camera’s view Displays the current camera view
Record/stop Tap to record and stop recording footage.
Stop recording Tap to stop recording
Photo gallery Tap to view photos
Photo Tap to take a photo
Settings Tap to view and adjust the settings of the camera/app. It is not
recommended to change the settings if there is no need.

This dash camera has an in-built GPS function to track the vehicle’s location as it records
footage/takes photos.
When the dash camera is turned on, wait for a few minutes until the satellite icon changes
from white to green. Once it turns green, it confirms the GPS is working normally.
Menu/Mode button
Press the menu/mode button to access the feature and system menus.
Press and hold the menu/mode button to enter photo mode. The mode allows users to
capture photos of the camera’s current view.
Up/Lock button
When in menus, use the up/lock button to move up through the menu options.
When recording video, press the up/lock button to lock video footage. This ensures the
footage is not overwritten or erased from the MicroSD card. This may be useful if witnessing
or in an accident that requires footage as proof.
Down/Record button
When in menus, use the down/record button to move down through the menu options.
When in the app main interface, press the down/record button to start/stop recording
footage.
Note:
If there is thick cloud cove, or the vehicle is underground or near densely packed
buildings, the dash camera may have a weak GPS signal and be unable to locate your
vehicle.
Adjusting the time
After the GPS is working normally, the dash camera will display the time. To change the
time, enter the settings and change the time to match your time zone.
Replay
Press and hold the replay button to replay footage.
Resetting
To reset the dash camera, use a pin to press and hold the reset button for six seconds. The
Wi-Fi network will also reset.
Downloading and viewing videos
1. Go to the video gallery of the Roadcam app, then select the video you wish to
download. Press the download icon.
2. After the video has downloaded, turn off the W-Fi on your mobile device.
3. Enter the Roadcam app again and tap the Album icon on the home screen.
4. Select the video that was downloaded and you will be able to view the footage. The
footage will simultaneously show the location of the vehicle on a map throughout the
duration of the footage.
Viewing videos on the computer
GXPlayer can be used to view footage on the computer. Similar to viewing on the phone,
the footage will simultaneously track the location of the vehicle whilst its driven.
To download GXPlayer, visit help.Kogan.com and search for this product. The page will
include the user guide and download link.
When installed, remove the MicroSD card from the dash camera and insert it into your
computer’s MicroSD card slot. Open GXPlayer to view and import footage.
Problem Possible solutions
After connecting to the
dash camera’s Wi-Fi, the
mobile device’s screen
turns black or flashes
when trying to access the
Waycam app.
If using an Android device, ensure you chose to connect
to the dash camera’s Wi-Fi when prompted. The dash
camera’s Wi-Fi network has no internet access, but will
function as a hotspot to connect your device to the
camera.
Uninstall and reinstall the Roadcam app. Ensure all app
permissions are allowed.
Disconnect and remove the dash camera’s Wi-Fi
network from your mobile device. Attempt reconnecting
to the Wi-Fi network with the password.
The dash camera is not
recognising the MicroSD
card/video is not
recording.
Ensure the MicroSD card used is of high quality.
Ensure the MicroSD card used is between 16–256GB
and at least class 10.
The dash camera is
flashing.
Ensure the Mini USB is well connected to the power
port of the dash camera.
Ensure the voltage and current are sufficient. This dash
camera requires 5V and 2A of power.
