Problem Possible solutions
After connecting to the
dash camera’s Wi-Fi, the
mobile device’s screen
turns black or flashes
when trying to access the
Waycam app.
• If using an Android device, ensure you chose to connect
to the dash camera’s Wi-Fi when prompted. The dash
camera’s Wi-Fi network has no internet access, but will
function as a hotspot to connect your device to the
camera.
• Uninstall and reinstall the Waycam app. Ensure all app
permissions are allowed.
• Disconnect and remove the dash camera’s Wi-Fi
network from your mobile device. Attempt reconnecting
to the Wi-Fi network with the password.
The dash camera is not
recognising the MicroSD
card/video is not
recording.
• Ensure the MicroSD card used is of high quality.
• Ensure the MicroSD card used is between 8–128GB and
at least class 10.
The dash camera is
flashing.
• Ensure the Mini USB is well connected to the power
port of the dash camera.
• Ensure the voltage and current are sufficient. This dash
camera requires 5V and 2A of power.
TROUBLESHOOTING
