UNO BOARD INSTALLATION INDEX
1. HARDWARE LAYOUT
¾ N-L-Earth:
Direct input with 230VAC-50Hz European Union standard voltage.
¾ T1:
6-wired input, for interconnection with the system’s thermostat. It allows the
communication with the zone’s control on the demand/ no-demand state in order the
set-point temperature to be established.
¾ M:
2-wired input, for provision of the motor’s supply of the control element (Grill or
power driven damper).
¾ RL 1:
The electronic control panel has 1 voltage free relay, which acts as a dry
contact. I t is normally open and switches on, switches off according to the operation
mode set by the system’s thermostat. Cabling of the relay will take place with Airzone
Type B Cable and in a tube separate from the rest of the cables connecting to the
electronic control panel.
2. POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION
The electronic control panel is supplied with 12Volts of direct current, supplied by a stabilized
Airzone source connected to the electricity supply with the European Union standard voltage
level: 230 volts of alternate current 50Hz.
3. THERMOSTAT
Airzone Free
Airzone Tacto Cordless
Airzone Cordless
The Free, Tacto Cordless or Cordless thermostats communicate by infra red rays with
receivers which are connected by type A cable to the electronic control panel in the following
way:

AIRZONE UNO – INSTALLATION MANUAL
Blue Cable: To clamp Y of the receiver with the Y of the control panel.
Black Cable: To clamp - of the receiver with the - of the control panel.
Brown Cable: To clamp W of the receiver with the W of the control panel.
Red Cable: To clamp + of the receiver with the + of the control panel.
Green Cable: To clamp V of the receiver with the V of the control panel.
Yellow Cable: To clamp I of the receiver with the I of the control panel.
Airzone Tacto
Airzone Plus
To install an Airzone Tacto Thermostat or an Airzone Plus Thermostat, carefully open the
thermostat by pushing the flap on the bottom of it and separate both parts of the thermostat.
Extract the cable through the cable duct at the bottom and fix the rear part to the wall with
screws.
Plus or Tacto thermostats are connected with A type Airzone Cable in the following way:
Blue Cable: To clamp Y of the receiver with the Y of the control panel.
Black Cable: To clamp - of the receiver with the - of the control panel.
Brown Cable: To clamp W of the receiver with the W of the control panel.
Red Cable: To clamp + of the receiver with the + of the control panel.
Green Cable: To clamp V of the receiver with the V of the control panel.
Yellow Cable: To clamp I of the receiver with the I of the control panel.
Important:
Control cabling should run through a separate duct from that of the power cables and, in any
case, the meshes of the type A cables will be connected to the earth in the electronic control
panel. If standard Airzone cable is not used, a shielded cable should be used with a cross-
section no lower than 0,22mm2.
Airzone offers a 3-year guarantee for its systems if Airzone cable is used.
4. MOTORIZED DISTRIBUTION ELEMENTS
Airzone I ntelligent Grille
Grill + Motorized Hatch
With the electronic Control Panel Airzone Type-B two-color cable will be used for connection
or, if not, a cable with a 0,75mm2 cross-section, to the corresponding M outlet, with the
following polarity:
Red Cable: From clamp - of the control panel to clamp - of the grille.
Black Cable: From clamp + of the control panel to clamp + of the grille.
Special conditions for connecting motorized distribution:
Zone with Two Motorized Grills: 2 motorized grills may be connected to the same Control
Panel.
Cordless Zone with Two Motorized Grills: Only one of the motorized elements may have the
Cordless receiver fitted. The other distribution element will be connected in parallel, and it
will not have an integrated receiver.
Check that the system is correctly connected: Pay particular attention to the 12V direct
current inlet. When the direct electrical current is connected, the control panel is reset,
switching the red led on for 4 seconds and activating closure of the motors.

5. THERMOSTAT SETTINGS
Install the infrared receiver of the Airzone Free Master thermostat more than 30cm away
from the supply grill or in the return grille, since the Free receiver is used for controlling the
set temperature.
All air conditioning equipment on the market is compatible with Airzone systems.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Never dispose of this equipment as domestic waste. The crossed out bin symbol indicates the
obligation for separate collection of electronic equipment waste. For proper environmental
conservation, once their useful life is over they should be taken to one of the established
collection centres.
Their components may be recycled, therefore please observe the environmental protection
rules in effect.
In the event of replacement, they should be returned to the distributor, or taken to a
specialized collection centre. Offenders will be liable for penalties and other measures.
