Safety Instructions
Before use, check thoroughly for any defects
and do NOT use if defects are found. Take
care not to drop the appliance as heavy
impacts may cause internal damage.
The Grill & Toaster operates at high
temperature, parts of the appliance may
become very hot during use. Take care to
avoid burns to skin, especially when cooking
fatty foods.
Ensure the Grill & Toaster is only used on
heat-resistant surfaces.
Do NOT leave the Grill & Toaster unattended
during cooking, as bread in a toaster or fatty
foods under a grill can burn easily or in
extreme cases ignite.
Do NOT use near wall cupboards, hanging
objects or flammable materials, such as
curtains, to avoid heat damage to other
surfaces. Also do NOT store or use close to
other heat sources to protect the Grill &
Toaster from heat damage.
Always place grill pan of a heat-proof surface
after use.
Keep away from children.
If toast becomes stuck in the toaster do NOT
attempt to remove with any sharp or metal
objects or your fingers as the toasting
elements carry live current. Unplug at mains
before removing stuck slice of toast.
Always ensure the Grill & Toaster is switched
OFF and unplugged after use, when cleaning
or if a fault develops. When unplugging,
never pull on the cable.
TOASTER
Use the adjustable browning control feature
to toast to your personal preference, from 1
(light) to 5 (dark).
Use lever to lower bread into toaster, and
allow to brown. Toaster will turn off and pop
the toast up when toasted. Push the lever up
at any time to finish toasting. Lever only
remains in the down position when the Grill
& Toaster is plugged in and switched on.
Allow toaster to cool for up to 90 seconds
between uses.
Do NOT cover the toaster whilst in use or
before the toaster has fully cooled.
GRILL
Attach handle to grill pan with angled clips
on handle facing downwards, and remove
pan from grill before pre-heating grill. Both
elements can be used together or individually.
If using both elements together, lightly oil the
surface of the grill pan.
Switch on upper and/or lower elements to
pre-heat the grill pan.
Ensure that the grill pan handle is removed
during cooking.
Do NOT use metal utensils or cutlery to move,
serve or turn food when using the non-stick
grill pan as this will damage the non-stick
coating.
Always switch off the grill after use.
CLEANING:
Do NOT clean with water or immerse in water
due to risk of electric shock.
Do NOT use abrasives or powerful cleaning
solutions.
Wipe with a soft damp cloth.
To remove toast crumbs, turn upside down
and shake gently, ensuring the grill pan is
removed first.
